Rancho Pacifico

We just returned for 6 wonderful nights at Rancho Pacifico. The staff is truly outstanding and makes the trip highly personable. The treehouse was immaculate with stunning views of the rainforest and the Pacific. The food is wonderful. The breakfast and lunch menus are delicious. The evening meal is chef’s choice and the highlight each day. My wife and I chose to relax by the pool each day, but the excursion options looked great. We were so impressed with the resort that we rebooked for 2027. A true slice of paradise. One of our favorite vacation spots!. A special thank you to Andrey, Vianay, Henry, and Adrien. My husband and I booked RP for our honeymoon in June - "off season". We stayed in the Puma Treehouse. The place was beautiful with many amenities and fun places to visit on the ranch, such as a hike-able waterfall on the property and a spa. Our room was well kept and cleaned when we left for activities. The concierge helped us plan activities and booked them for us (we enjoyed the white water rafting and paragliding). The waitstaff was pleasant and the food (complimentary breakfast and 4 course dinner) was wonderful! The drive up the mountain to Rancho is a little intimidating if you are not used to mountain drives, but a 4x4 vehicle and experienced driver can make it. If not, the staff offers to drive you too and from your adventures. We did experience rain 2/6 days we were there but planned ahead and brought some board games for that time, but spending them in the treehouse with an amazing view was still great! It began to feel like home. We definitely recommend Rancho Pacifico and the Puma treehouse if you are looking for a pampered, beautiful, and adventurous getaway!

We had the most amazing time! Every member of staff was incredible, the villa was beautiful, the property and views were stunning, the food was delicious, I have nothing bad to say. They coordinated our car service from the airport on arrival and to a rental property after our stay and it was seamless. Our spa service was fabulous. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

From the moment we were met at the airport until our last farewell, each moment at Rancho Pacifico was a piece of paradise! The staff's attention to the smallest details to the unfaltering commitment to pura vida, we were impressed every moment of our stay!

It’s difficult to put into words how impressed we were with our stay at Rancho Pacifico! After reading so many glowing reviews online, we decided that RP looked like the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our 21st anniversary and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. From their responsiveness to my initial booking request, I could tell that Rancho Pacifico was different. They were very helpful in answering all of my questions and offered an all-inclusive package that was exactly what we were looking for. This allowed our time in Costa Rica to be completely stress-free. This package had EVERY detail covered and there was no need to stress about any extra planning. The services that the Rancho Pacifico team provided for us throughout our stay consistently exceeded our expectations! Travel delays caused us to have a midnight arrival time at the resort, but the concierge never missed a beat in rescheduling our airport pickup and private transportation to the resort. After the steep drive up the mountain to the entrance, we were glad that we chose to use their transportation and skipped renting a car. The property and the rooms were beautiful! Our room gave us full privacy, and we really felt like we were sitting in a treetop in the rainforest. The sunsets from the Treehouse Puma were some of the most beautiful that we have ever seen! We planned our excursions during the morning hours and spent lazy afternoons relaxing on our balcony enjoying the sunset, watching the wildlife, and soaking up the sounds of the rainforest. Be sure to save some downtime to enjoy the room! The food was absolutely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the open-air dining area with views of the ocean and the Whale’s Tail. We especially loved the fresh juices at breakfast every morning! Dinner is quite the experience and we found ourselves looking forward to hearing about the “surprise” menu every evening, especially when Andre was the one to present it to us! Our excursions were booked by the concierge desk (Adrian and Shirley) and were completely stress-free. The Mangrove Boat Tour was our favorite! We also really enjoyed the ATV & Coffee tour and Cano Island Snorkeling. We were even lucky enough to swim with some sea turtles! Private transportation was arranged for us…and the resort provided “on the go” meals when we were going to be out during breakfast or lunch. We appreciated not having to worry about navigating unfamiliar roads and were able to enjoy the scenery. The resort staff went out of their way to ensure every aspect of our stay was perfect! Their attention to detail, personal touches, and overall friendliness definitely make Rancho Pacifico unique and memorable. Everyone working there seems to really love what they do and it shows in their interactions with the guests and each other. A few other favorites from our stay: relaxing by the pool, hiking to the waterfall, cocktails and great conversation with Jason (one of their bartenders), and seeing the incredible wildlife. We saw Howler Monkeys, Fiery-Billed Aracari, and Toucans at the resort! And btw, we only needed bug spray for the waterfall hike! As funny as it sounds, my only regret from our trip was forgetting to purchase some of the laundry detergent that the resort uses before we left Costa Rica. It smelled amazing and I would have loved to bring some back home to remind us of our stay! Rancho Pacifico was certainly an unforgettable experience for us. We were disappointed that our week passed by so quickly, but feel blessed that we had the opportunity to visit such a truly special place! We are already making plans for our next trip to RP!
