We had the opportunity to spend last week end at the new Hotel Talisa in Vail. The renovations are stunning all through out, from the grand entrance to the lobby bar and the restaurant, there is even a library with a pool table and fireplaces to keep you cozy. Our room overlooked the river and the mountain, even without snow the view was amazing. Staff is eager to please, we were traveling with a young child and everyone made sure that our needs were met. We had lunch and dinner at the Gessner restaurant. Their menu offers enough variety to please even my husband! The spa was still under construction so we could not use it, the old spa is still open tho. We visited the ski concierge, beautifully renovated and with staff ready for snow. All and all, after just a few days of being open this hotel was outstanding, we had a great time and will be back this winter to experience the ski in ski out

So disappointed in our weekend trip to the newly opened hotel Talisa. The remodel is nice but it was a lot of misses for us in terms of being touted as a luxury resort. We knew there would be some kinks since they were only open a week but went from bad to worse for us. Biggest gripes: Planned activities that were given to us in a booklet upon check in were never executed. The staff, for the most part was friendly but quite frankly clueless. This hotel, staff, and management has a long way to go before we will consider returning. I suggest you wait to book until you see some rave reviews.

Beautiful property and they recently went through a $60 million renovation and joined the Marriott family. Renovations have been done well, the rooms are spacious and if you can do it go for the mountain view rooms. Ours even had a balcony with seating outside. The bathroom is well done and modern. They can have a better quality and range of products in the bathroom. The attachments on the hair dryer were a bit difficult to put together but luckily I traveled with my own. The staff is very friendly and polite but lacking some training. On multiple occasions we were given different information by different team members. The food selection in their restaurant is good but the kitchen was bit slow in sending the food out. The spa is fabulous (not renovated) and they even offer childcare services upto 2 hours max which was very helpful ($10 per hour)

Absolutely breathtaking! This is a must see; newly renovated property with a gorgeous lobby and even more amazing guest rooms. Lounge area with a pool table and indoor fireside seating, fabulous hot tub and heated infinity pool. Fun apres ski activities starting at 3pm. We stayed for two nights, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We even came home and ordered the full bedding set because we slept so well. We will certainly be staying at Hotel Talisa for our next trip to Vail!
