Right in the middle of Vail and convenient to everything, we felt transported to Europe at this sophisticated, yet cozy and intimate hotel. From the moment the friendly and efficient valet staff greeted us in the port cochere to the time they sent us off, we were treated warmly and personally by all of the staff, so much that we can't wait to return! The attention to detail and anticipation of our needs were especially appreciated and seamless. The reception area with its soaring windowed ceiling was luxuriously appointed with beautiful furnishings and fireplace surrounded by well-placed art made it feel like a residential living room. The library was so inviting that we wanted to linger all day with a good book. The Frost bar totally transported us into an understated winter wonderland. We stayed in a well-appointed two-bedroom suite overlooking the mountain with the pool and hot tubs immediately below. The suite was pleasantly appointed with a fully functional kitchen including a crock pot for an apres ski meal, coffee maker in addition to a Nespresso instant coffee maker depending on your preference. Extra nice touches like complimentary apples in a bowl, specialty trail mix (delicious!), full bag of coffee (which we didn't use), were very much appreciated and enjoyed. The hotel is committed to reducing their carbon footprint by offering refillable water bottles, a refillable water purification pitcher in the refrigerator, shampoo/ lotion/body wash in dispenser bottles and instruction cards should you not want sheets changed or would like to re-use towels. We didn't take advantage of the spa but reception area was inviting, small retail shop, meeting space, kids room and plenty of open space to relax. Added bonus that the video games are free to guests and they offer complimentary Redbox-style movies in the business center as well as books and board games in the Library. We did have breakfast in the restaurant (Leonora, reviewed separately). We are looking forward to returning!

This is just a wonderful hotel. The staff were all so nice and helpful. The rooms are very nice and it's in a good location, also. It was very easy to walk to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

It's our 4th time staying here. Convenient location off I-70. Very friendly staff, valets, and front desk staff. The rooms are nicely decorated and full of nice amenities. The hotel also features a nice pool and 3 hot tubs for great relaxation. Nice location and walking distance near Vail village and Lionshead.

The property is really beautiful, right in the middle of Vail Village. Walking distance to everything. The lobby is cozy and a great spot to read the paper. Or the lobby bar, Frost, is fun too. Our room was nice, nothing crazy but we had a dog-friendly room so I'm assuming we weren't in the best. They let you bring your dog ($150 fee) which is wonderful for us. ALL of the staff were so pleasant and friendly and very helpful. Didn't eat the food except breakfast which was fine. We'll be back.

We stayed at The Sebastian for a wedding and overall had a good stay. Our 1 bedroom suite was well appointed, comfortable and nice, and we appreciated the complimentary snacks/water. The location is great and central to pretty much everything. We only had two complaints, which neither would have been a big deal had we not spent an arm and a leg for the hotel. The staff was generally OK, but there were a few instances of staff not knowing basic information -- like sending our large group to the bar when it hadn't opened yet and then not knowing any other options on property and asking us to go around and find out ourselves. The hotel dryer could also use a major upgrade -- when spending >$400/night, I would expect a hotel dryer with more than 1200 volts. Again, neither of these would normally be a big deal had we not been spending so much on the room. A higher price point necessitates perfection.
