Staff was very helpful, and friendly. The whole experience was wonderful. The hotel is well located, and we walked to both sides of the island from there. Only 6 - 8 blocks from Gastown, maybe 20 blocks to English Bay. Great stay.

We spent two nights here prior to boarding a ship for a cruise to Alaska. We arrived too early for check-in, but the hotel stored our luggage while we grabbed some lunch (in the Copper Chimney - very good), and walked down to the cruise ship area. We did not choose to walk to the terminal to board the ship; too many stairs and cross streets for dragging luggage, but that's an inexpensive taxi ride. The rooms are very spacious and clean and comfortable! The entire staff in the hotel and restaurant are extremely friendly and helpful! The price seemed low to average for the area; we prepaid when we booked months in advance. We would definitely stay here again!

High quality hotel but small enough to feel personal. Room could be larger but adequate for two with an adjoining sitting room. Well situated for access to all of Downtown's attractions. Great staff, all very helpful. Ate in the Copper Chimney one evening - good food and great bar staff

The quality of the rooms and the amenities remain top notch; however,I was not impressed with the Copper Chimney for breakfast. Although the service was good, the restaurant remains expensive for a simple breakfast. Forage at The Listel is a much better choice for a restaurant/hotel combination.
