I would have given this hotel 4 stars if it were kit for the relatively small rooms and uncomfortable beds . The hotel location is excellent ; walking distance from the busy Robson street and museum of art as well as few blocks from the gas town neighborhood . It has many coffee shops within a 1-2 blocks radius . The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and hence I commend the hotel for their hiring and culture . Having said so , the rooms are small . The furniture style is a bit old and may need some overhaul . Beds were not comfortable as you would expect. Also the air conditioning and fan were very noisy and in some instances very annoying . Valet parking was 35 dollars per night . I would rate this hotel at 3.5 stars . Two words of advice : the hotel is adjacent to a strip club and a " massage " place . I would avoid this hotel if you had a family with little children . If you are single , that might be actually an attraction to you ... :)

The entire staff made our stay enjoyable by being helpful and pleasant. They worked together quite well. What a great team. They helped us find local restaurants and things to do. Great place to stay in downtown vancouver. Walk or short cab to most everything.

Great modern and very clean hotel with excellent and friendly staff, always aiming to please. Great location, walking distance to the Public Market and with several fine restaurants within a few short blocks. Hotels are pricy in Vancouver, Le Soleil is a great deal for the quality!
