The Le Soleil is in a nice central downtown location and has its own restaurant attached. The hotel is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly. The bed was very comfortable. I had a corner suite, and I asked for a quiet room. The room I got was on the top floor (16), and it was quiet from other rooms/elevator/etc within the hotel. However, there were two sources of noise, unfortunately, Many ambulance sirens were heard in this area. Secondly, while my room was pretty isolated, there was some kind of large machinery above me - presumably on the roof, that made a constant motor sound such that I needed earplugs to sleep. So that was disappointing. Otherwise, while the staff is nice, there is no concierge on duty, and the desk attendants were not that well-versed in sightseeing information. They were unable to exchange money too, but there is a good currency exchange just around the corner.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our spring break family trip. The hotel was nice, clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day out. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—especially Angela, who gave us great recommendations on things to do and see around the city. Her kindness really made our trip even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back!

I visit the hotel for 3 days. I have no issues with the room and cleanliness Meets all expectations. The service when requesting for water was prompt and polite. However, after leaving my stay, I needed to store my luggage. The front desk attendee gave me a luggage tag and then showed me to the storage room and said I had to store my own luggage. Never have I ever had to put my own tag and also store my own luggage. This is not service. I was very unhappy with the service and how I was treated like a worker for the hotel and not a visitor

Hotel was beautiful and loved have the 1 bedroom suite room for our family of four so that we didn’t have to go the bed at the same time as the kids. The sofa bed worked great for them. The location was great, we easily walked with our kids from the hullo ferry. Only reason my review isn’t five stars is because the primary reason we booked this hotel was for the indoor swimming pool as something to do with the kids. Two days prior to our trip I was notified that the health facilities were only available to those over 15 years. I thought that meant the gym. Upon arriving and trying to access the pool with my two toddlers, I was informed the age restriction applied to the pool as well. My kids were crushed as they were looking forward to swimming during our weekend there. I was also surprised to learn that the “health facilities” (pool and gym) weren’t actually part of the hotel but next door in a separate building at the ywca. I booked through hotels.com so maybe that’s where the misconception occurred as I was definitely under the impression the hotel le soleil had their own pool within the building so even if kids were allowed it was not what I wanted as a quick toddler friendly activity. Otherwise the hotel itself was great, room service breakfast from alouette was delicious and super fast. Just don’t book here if you have kids hoping to swim.
