Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
When it debuted at the height of the Roaring Twenties, Rosewood Hotel Georgia established itself as the Canadian destination for entertainment royalty. Marlene Dietrich showed up with 40 of her suitcases, John Wayne sauntered over the threshold, and Bing Crosby topped a never-ending list of headline entertainers. British Columbia’s top radio station, CKWX, broadcasted from the penthouse for more than a decade. Today, after a 2011 renovation, old-world touches still glimmer in a thoroughly modern hotel, a revival of the Golden Age of Travel. There’s a funky, mosaic-tiled indoor pool and a gourmet room service menu that serves late into the night (you can thank Audrey Hepburn’s list of demands for that one).
Order a buttery, homemade pastry from Bel Café. Follow it with a handful of confetti-colored macaroons (it’s OK, you’ve already had breakfast!) Resist Vancouver’s urban pull and head to the wilderness just outside the city: Stanley Park teems with old-growth forests and craggy beaches, and its home to the Vancouver Aquarium. Glimpse Canada’s underwater residents, then head back to the hotel for a delectable meal – Hawksworth is the three-time winner of Vancouver Magazine’s Best Upscale Restaurant award.

Reviews for Rosewood Hotel Georgia
We were so pleased with our selection of the hotel. They upgraded our room upon arrival, had a convenient location and were so friendly and helpful. They gave great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. I would go there again if we ever were in Vancouver.

My husband and I have stayed at the Hotel Georgia on two occasions. It's a great place. The property is beautiful while being comfortable. The staff is highly professional and happy to do whatever they can to make your stay memorable. The rooms and common areas are beautifully furnished and spotless.

Very central location. Infrastructure very up to date. Luxurious but elegantly so (i.e. not flamboyant or over done). Service is excellent - very personable. The meeting room was outstanding with very helpful staff to ensure audiovisuals, food etc were meeting needs.

On my return after 2 years, i was extremely happy to stay at the Georgia. Arriving early, I was given an upgrade to a room available immediately. Breakfast is still superb. All staff extremely helpful.
