Poised at the edge of Coal Harbour in lovely downtown Vancouver is the newly-opened Loden Vancouver hotel, part of Kor Hotel Group's urban portfolio and its first foray into the Canadian market. Loden Vancouver's modern design, inspired by the region's cascading mountains and placid waterways, is a city skyline standout with a mix of gleaming curved glass, natural stone and copper positioned to mimic ocean waves. The compilation of spacious guest rooms and suites are meticulously appointed in a soothing palette of chocolaty earth tones and rich caramels, coupled with an assortment of amenities. Little details, such as heated bathroom floors and fully-stocked private bars, provide that extra element of comfort and luxury.

The Loden is the best hotel in Vancouver in our opinion. Perfect location, great rooms with beautiful views, and a staff that makes every stay feel special. Each visit genuinely feels like going back to see friends. The attention to detail, the consistency of the service, and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere make it our first choice every time we visit the city.

Well located with a bubbly staff, the Loden is a boutique experience but not overly comfortable. The room was adequate and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. The bathroom is a mix of sliding wood and glass panels to create the small space. The single sink is exceptionally small. The shower does not have a safety grab bar and we were supplied with one towel /face cloth each. There is a “tub” but not sure how anyone would get in or out of it. No coffee in room but an elaborate espresso machine is on the small counter space. In all, we juggled and made it work…but probably would not return .

I came to Vancouver for a much needed reset and to get away from the stress of living in the US. I found The Loden Hotel on a travel blog and I am beyond grateful I did. As their motto says “ Central. Quiet. Beautiful.” I would add exceptionally professional and warm staff, especially Stanislav at the front desk, superior comfortable rooms and an overall feeling of staying at a place where people want to take care of you. I came home refreshed, relaxed and completely in love with Vancouver. So much so that I’ve already booked my next stay in March 2026! Thank Loden Team!

From the first time my husband and I stayed at the Loden in 2021, we knew we had found a home away from home. The Loden perfectly balances comfort and luxury, but the service is exceptional. From the Vice President, Ms. Irina to the managers David, Stanislav, and Marie—who feel like cherished friends—to the front-end staff, Samual, Caroline, Eileen, and Shane who quickly become new friends, every interaction with them make us feel like genuine VIPs. We’ve had the pleasure and privilege to stay in all their room types over the years, and have loved each one. Each suite provides the most comfy beds and pillows, perfect lighting, in-room snacks and beverages (something you just don't see anymore in most hotels) and soaker tubs—a personal favorite! We also love the floor-to-ceiling windows that provide fantastic views, the cozy robes (we spend a lot of time in them), and the in-room Nespresso machine with real cream. They’ve even added a high-end Nespresso machine in the lobby, another special touch. Oh, and another notable feature is the Dyson hairdryer in every room—a luxury I haven't seen in other hotels. But what really sets the Loden apart, though, are the other personal touches. We always receive a handwritten note from Ms. Irina, along with a welcome gift. The turndown service (if you want one) is another wonderful detail, including lemon water and chocolates. Not to mention the genuine, warm welcomes and smiles you consistently receive from every staff member you encounter, including the housekeeping staff. The adjoining restaurant, Tableau Bistro, also consistently provides five star service and food, whether you dine in or order room service. During this last stay, we ordered room service 2x per day, and were never disappointed. If you are a burger lover, like my husband, you must try their burger with the Aujus! Lastly, the location! You really can't beat it. Whether you want to walk along the waterfront or take a stroll down Robson street for some shopping, you are literally just minutes away in either direction, on foot. My husband and I can't gush enough about this hotel and its superb staff. We recommend it to everyone we know. The Loden is truly in a league of its own, and in our eyes is a 5 star +++ hotel, that goes, beyond, beyond!

The Loden Hotel is an excellent boutique luxury hotel. The moment we arrived, the staff worked to make every aspect of our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The lobby is cozy and beautifully decorated with tea and coffee at the ready night and day. The rooms are spacious, modern, quiet and THE CLEANEST hotel room I have EVER stayed (and I check all the corners!) Every evening with turn-down service, a carafe of ice-water is placed on the nightstand; which I really appreciate. The location is about a 5 minute walk to luxury shopping (Balenciaga, Max Mara, Louis Viutton etc.) and also a few more blocks are Lulu Lemon etc. On the same street are coffee shops, an Italian restaurant, a pharmacy... nothing was longer than a 15 minute taxi ride. Attached to the hotel is a French bistro that serves, breakfast, lunch and dinner with delicious food. If I had one negative thing to say, it would be that the restaurant can get a bit noisy - but that's because it's busy in the evenings. We will definitely stay here anytime we come back to Vancouver. You cannot go wrong staying at the Loden Hotel!
