Loden Vancouver in Vancouver, British Columbia

Poised at the edge of Coal Harbour in lovely downtown Vancouver is the newly-opened Loden Vancouver hotel, part of Kor Hotel Group's urban portfolio and its first foray into the Canadian market. Loden Vancouver's modern design, inspired by the region's cascading mountains and placid waterways, is a city skyline standout with a mix of gleaming curved glass, natural stone and copper positioned to mimic ocean waves. The compilation of spacious guest rooms and suites are meticulously appointed in a soothing palette of chocolaty earth tones and rich caramels, coupled with an assortment of amenities. Little details, such as heated bathroom floors and fully-stocked private bars, provide that extra element of comfort and luxury.

This urbane retreat is also home to Voya, a destination restaurant and bar with a menu of West Coast cuisine and chilled libations. The intimate dining room and lounge boasts a hip motif of ice-blue hues, bold pattern screens, oversize mirrors and sleek white-lacquered tables - all illuminated by a trio of crystal chandeliers. The restaurant is also eco-friendly and part of a sustainable program that promotes green practices. Indulge behind the doors of the intimate spa suite, where a selection of customized aesthetic treatments and a menu of massage techniques await. You will also find a state-of-the-art fitness room with 24-hour access. Beyond the hotel lobby is where you will find many diverse neighborhoods teeming with museums, galleries and fabulous shops. Granville Island, a nearby Vancouver landmark, with its public market, culinary finds and unusual street performers, should not be missed when you stay at Loden Vancouver.

I have stayed at the Loden before and have always been happy. This time I was connected to an adjoining room however there was inadequate soundproofing. The first two nights I was awakened by telephone conversations and hair-drying. The third morning a new set of guests with small children awoke very early and I could hear every work and squeak.

The Loden is a great place to stay. Really nice and helpful staff. Everyone had a smile. Extremely clean. The room is spacious and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again. The attached restaurant, The Tableau is a great place to eat. Our waitress recommended the Supreme de poulet Grand mere. She was right!! I also really liked the music, it went very well with the atmosphere. I wish I would've asked them who the artists were or if there was a way to get the mix they were playing. Can't wait to go back to try something else on my next business trip!

One night /two days of business in Vancouver. Am a regular user of this hotel and never disappoints. Room was a suite - one of the largest suites I have ever been in - and well appointed and expected for this type of hotel. Turn down service is always a treat after a full day. All the small details makes this a preferred hotel for me, including the carafe of water every day.

Just completed 4 days/nights at the super Loden Hotel in Vancouver! First I would say that I cannot recall a hotel with friendlier, more helpful people that work at the hotel. Every employee we encountered was so friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location in the city, relatively easy walk from the City Center station or not long taxi ride from the aiport. The hotel is modern, clean and very well done. Try to get a room at the end of a hallway as you we had views in two directions with water and mountains, etc. The shower is excellent, the sound system in the room cool and plenty of room to work, a Keurig coffee machine in the room, and other nice appointments. They even have a London taxi which they will take you for free to places in the city for free during the day and early evening. The restaurant and bar is also very good, normally don't eat at "hotel restaurants" but in this case very happy that we did.

Staying at Loden in Vancouver was a wonderful experience and I look forward to staying again. Having the ability to book the in-house taxi was a huge benefit. Also, being able to quickly access local restaurants and events was great!
