Loden Vancouver in Vancouver, British Columbia

Poised at the edge of Coal Harbour in lovely downtown Vancouver is the newly-opened Loden Vancouver hotel, part of Kor Hotel Group's urban portfolio and its first foray into the Canadian market. Loden Vancouver's modern design, inspired by the region's cascading mountains and placid waterways, is a city skyline standout with a mix of gleaming curved glass, natural stone and copper positioned to mimic ocean waves. The compilation of spacious guest rooms and suites are meticulously appointed in a soothing palette of chocolaty earth tones and rich caramels, coupled with an assortment of amenities. Little details, such as heated bathroom floors and fully-stocked private bars, provide that extra element of comfort and luxury.

This urbane retreat is also home to Voya, a destination restaurant and bar with a menu of West Coast cuisine and chilled libations. The intimate dining room and lounge boasts a hip motif of ice-blue hues, bold pattern screens, oversize mirrors and sleek white-lacquered tables - all illuminated by a trio of crystal chandeliers. The restaurant is also eco-friendly and part of a sustainable program that promotes green practices. Indulge behind the doors of the intimate spa suite, where a selection of customized aesthetic treatments and a menu of massage techniques await. You will also find a state-of-the-art fitness room with 24-hour access. Beyond the hotel lobby is where you will find many diverse neighborhoods teeming with museums, galleries and fabulous shops. Granville Island, a nearby Vancouver landmark, with its public market, culinary finds and unusual street performers, should not be missed when you stay at Loden Vancouver.

From the moment you arrive, the staff is welcoming, friendly and attentive. The rooms are fairly spacious and modern with several nice touches. I enjoyed the pass thru bathroom wall with mirrors on both sides. The speaker in the bathroom was also a nice touch. Turn down service complete with chocolates and water on the nightstand and filled ice bucket was greatly appreciated. The staff is helpful and eager to please. We reserved the complimentary bikes to ride around the Seawall in Stanley Park to have brunch at the Teahouse. The bikes were complete with helmet, locks and water for no extra charge. We also used the hotel's complimentary car service to get us to Yaletown for dinner, Gastown for shopping and Granville Island. They will take you most places in the downtown area. Although they will not pick you up to bring you back to the hotel, the one way ride sure saved our legs from a lot more walking. The staff is also prepared with many great suggestions for dining. We loved the location and walked to so many things... didn't even rent a car! When we return to Vancouver, we will definitely book the Loden again

Loden Hotel would be my first choice when I return to Vancouver. Excellent service - delicious food - fabulous massage - walking distant to some of Vancouver's finest shopping. The staff at the Loden went out of their way to make sure that my stay was far above average. Thank you for making me feel welcome and well cared for.

The hotel was very welcoming. Staff were always smiling and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I even managed to enjoy a good soak in the tub. Just what I needed after a very long flight. Thank you.

The hotel is charming and the staff is amazing. There was initially a mix-up with our reservation but Adrian, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were well-taken care of. The staff was incredibly friendly, efficient, and helpful. Lisa and Maria gave us great restaurant recommendations and answered all of our million questions about the city. I will definitely be staying there again next time I'm in Vancouver.

I spend probably on average 200 days a year in a hotel traveling for business...mixed in with a bit of vacation, so staying in a hotel that feels like home is an added treat. The Loden's customer service is exceptional. I love being greeted with a smile by the staff every time I was in the lobby, the rooms were comfy and had all the amenities I needed and the added touches such as turn down service, chocolates & water in the room and bikes to peddle on the seawall!
