Loden Hotel Vancouver

Staying at the Loden Hotel in Vancouver BC was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived to celebrate our daughter’s wedding we were looked after perfectly but the outstanding Loden staff. Special shout out to Stanislav, David, Alina and Neils. The VP, Hotel Operations Irina Gerchikov should be congratulated for her leadership. The rooms were beautiful and clean, gym and other hotel facilities first class, great dining and terrific location. We will certainly return to our home away from home and highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting VancouverBC. Gold star award ⭐️🇨🇦🙌

The rooms were very comfortable, including large and comfortable beds. All the amenities were perfect. The attached restaurant was first rate offering great food all day. The service we received was the most impressive part of our experience. The staff were friendly, helpful and they actually went above and beyond what was required. I always felt like I was in good hands appreciated the staff very much. 6/5 stars.

Following the change in ownership of our previously favourite luxury hotel in Vancouver (for over 15 years), we decided to search for a new hotel, and chose Loden Hotel as a particularly good candidate. When we first entered Loden’s lobby, we were much impressed by the warmth and ambience created by the carefully chosen furniture and décor. Then, as we engaged with the front desk staff, we were truly impressed by their friendliness, courteousness and professionalism. For this trip, we booked the one-bedroom suite for two nights, wanting to have such comfort in case we chose to stay in for a few hours instead of going out. After checking in, and settling into the suite, we found that the layout, furniture, and amenities all met our high expectations. Then, in requesting some assistance with a few things in the suite, the staff were extremely helpful and polite. Also, a pleasant surprise awaited us in the form of an excellent bottle of BC red wine for our anniversary, along with a nice hand-written welcome card from the hotel VP. Unfortunately, we later encountered a couple of issues which the hotel was unable to fully resolve immediately. However, while out shopping, the hotel’s Director phoned me with a generous offer of upgrading us to the Penthouse, which I gratefully accepted. When we returned to the hotel, we were given a personal tour of the Penthouse. As we settled in, we found every aspect of it to be astounding, with its extensive space, luxurious furnishings, tasteful artwork, and every amenity that one could desire. While comparing this hotel to other luxury hotels, some other aspects that we noticed were superior here were firstly the soundproofing of the windows which eliminates most of the street noise, and secondly the air conditioning system which provides greater control for the guests. To further complement all the above, this hotel is also connected to one of our favourite Vancouver restaurants, Tableau Bistro, where we enjoyed a few more delicious meals while we stayed at the hotel. Noticing that the hotel’s room service is catered by Tableau is certainly appealing for future visits. In departing, we concluded that we made the right decision in selecting Loden as our new preferred Vancouver hotel, and we definitely plan to return there as often as possible.

Truly a home away from home. Everyone from the front desk, concierge, manager and housecleaning staff were genuinely caring and attentive to all needs. They walked the extra mile and more to take good care of us and attended to all requests without hesitation. Having traveled extensively over the past 30 years and having stayed at very high end hotels as well as the usual corporate ones, I can safely say that the Loden is by far the best in terms of a truly warm caring and welcoming experience.
