Poised at the edge of Coal Harbour in lovely downtown Vancouver is the newly-opened Loden Vancouver hotel, part of Kor Hotel Group's urban portfolio and its first foray into the Canadian market. Loden Vancouver's modern design, inspired by the region's cascading mountains and placid waterways, is a city skyline standout with a mix of gleaming curved glass, natural stone and copper positioned to mimic ocean waves. The compilation of spacious guest rooms and suites are meticulously appointed in a soothing palette of chocolaty earth tones and rich caramels, coupled with an assortment of amenities. Little details, such as heated bathroom floors and fully-stocked private bars, provide that extra element of comfort and luxury.

Loden Hotel was the most perfect place to stay in Vancouver. It was in a fantastic location and had bikes to explore Stanley Park and Granville Island. We had wonderful guest service, they really went above and beyond. The gym was clean and quiet. The room design was chic and modern, with lots of light. I will definitely be back!

Lovely hotel situated downtown close to all of the Central facilities. The service was really good and the rooms very nice. Breakfast is in the French restaurant which was very French the croissants even tasted like the ones you buy in France . We used the complimentary hotel bikes to do a circuit of Stanley Park- highly recommended.

This is a very special hotel and quite unique with its incredible attention to detail and desire to meet the needs of their clients including us! Our room was amazing and wonderfully decorated and totally comfortable. This is our second time there and stayed in the Park Vista room the first time then we stayed in the room with a patio and pond (Mr. and Mrs. Mallard often parked there) which was amazing. The location near Stanley Park and the Seawall walk was great. A shout out to our customer relations manager Stanislav whose positive never ending energy made this a great personal experience for us. If you get the chance to experience a truly special hotel pick the Loden Hotel.

We had a great experience staying at the Loden hotel in May 2026. Location is excellent but better yet is the very accomodating and dedicated staff who were there to offer advice, assistance and excellent service.

The Loden Hotel is a 77 room boutique hotel sitting squarely in Coal Harbour. I'm about to list a plethora of great things about the hotel, but, at the same time I can't recommend it. Read on to find out or just skip to the bottom. The Good: So first of all, let's mention the staff. The staff are wonderful here. Could not have been more helpful, friendly, or supportive. Again, absolutely amazing. A full five stars in this department. We received two handwritten notes from the VP and a bottle of Champagne as a welcome. The snacks as mentioned by other reviewers, are top notch, from luxurious chocolates, to nuts, to premium bottles of water. There is a turn-down service every night and they refill the coffee maker with water, and include a jug of fresh water for you. Bath Toiletries are Molten Brown, which, I have to admit are my favorite brand. The gym is well equipped, including Pelotons, yoga mats, free weights and a punching bag! The location is perfect, a 15 min walk to Canada Line but only a 5 min walk to the Expo Line, just down the street from Canada Place. Walking to Robson is convenient and easy. So whats the problem? This is a 2025 Michelin Star hotel. As such, it needs something extra, something special, something to make it stand out. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the je ne sais quoi, especially for the price point. You see, the rooms lacking in some key areas, for what you pay. The size of our corner room was 385 square feet, on the smaller side, and lacking amenities. The small, 35 inch TV, you can't cast anything from your phone. Power outlets are minimal, in fact, we couldn't even find ONE convenient one in the entire hotel room. Bath amenities were lacking, with no toothbruth or comb. Finally, I've stayed at over 500 hotels in the last four years and this is the first hotel I've come across in this time frame with no iron in the room? (Canada Law maybe?) At this price point, or actually, even cheaper, you are better off at the Metropolitan or the Sutton Place, both of which I have stayed at with both rooms being superior to what I had at Loden, at a cheaper price point.
