Reviews for Pan Pacific Vancouver
The hotel is clean and tidy. Lots of little things in the rooms, mini-bar, snacks, nice towels and good bed. Expensive as you have to pay for everything including your internet. We could not have a queen bed as "it was not what we paid for". The queen beds were so small that we slept in both.

Excellent facility that is centrally located in downtown Vancouver. Superb staff that seem to anticipate your questions and comments. I was immediately greeted by a bell hop/doorman who took the time to ask about my needs and if I knew the hotel. I didn't and he walked me to the elevators all the time explaining the nuances of the hotel, like the location of Registration Desk and how to get to the Convention Center. Check-in was effortless on my part. Simply picked up the keys and headed to my room, and it was only noon. This was quite a surprise since I had been up for almost 12 hours flying cross country (from NY to Vancouver) and was tired and hungry. Usually I am greeted with "Unfortunately, your room is not ready and check-in isn't for another four hours." It was like the hotel was waiting for me to arrive. For three nights and four days, the hotel staff was impeccable: housekeeping kept the room ship-shape and no matter the question, staff were happy to help. The next time I am in Vancouver, I will be staying at the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

The Pan Pacific has a special offer for those departing on a cruise ship that offers included breakfast, late checkout, and delivery of your bags to the ship. This makes embarking so easy. The hotel is a luxury hotel with service and prices to match. The bellman not only delivered my bags but filled my ice bucket for me- delightful service. The location at Canada Place is convenient for touring and dining. One room oddity- I had a king room and was traveling solo so it wasn't an issue for me, but the door that separated the bathroom from the rest of the room swung on the hinges to separate the toilet area from the sink and shower, leaving this part of the bathroom open to the rest of the room when the door to the toilet was closed. However the reason for the non-5 star rating is that even though my room was prepaid, when I checked out, there was a charge of around $20 CDN that I was expected to pay. The front desk could only say that the room wasn't fully paid for, even though for the cruise package the full cost plus tax was due at the time of reservation. A hotel of this quality shouldn't be nickle and diming their customers and it left a bad taste in my mouth in an otherwise fantastic stay.

Services were top notch from bell boys to chamber maid. The room view was very nice - stayed in 23rd floor - very convenient access to pan pacific lounge, the staffs there were delightful, Amenities are quite nice. Location is perfect, ease of access to everywhere due to proximity to mrt. Close to CF Pacific centre mall too. Liked the most: the pan pacific lounge staffs hospitality especially Emma Wang and Kenette Permante who went extra miles to make our stay very pleasant!! Liked the least: lack of toothbrush set in the room (did have the mouth wash for free though)
