Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

A great location and the Fairmont is a hotel I enjoy staying at. Now I realize this is an d building build back in the late 20's and completed in 1939 but that doesn't mean the hotel rooms cannot be updated. Also for the price per night please get some better towels. They were rough and not comfortable for drying off. Really poor condition. I wouldn't use these to dry my dog. The ged frames are wood and are chipping and scratched and look very bad. Furniture is showing its wear and there are multiple stains all over the carpet so I made sure to keep my socks on. The last Fairmont I stayed in was in Wales and is an example for how the Fairmont chain should be held to. I'm not thrilled about all the condition of the room at all. The hotel is a great location but that's it.

Outstanding hotel! The structure is a historic building - but very clean - in a perfect location allowing guests to walk anywhere downtown. The staff members are superb and attend to every detail and the food was excellent. I had the opportunity to interact with Head of Security Aaron and could not have been more impressed. If you are in Vancouver, I recommend staying at this Fairmont hotel!

Great hotel centrally located in downtown Vancouver. We had a Deluxe King corner room. A very comfortable bright room enhanced by double windows offering city views. The decor was clean and fresh. Although the corridors were somewhat drab. More pictures on the walls, a touch of paint and fresh carpets would completely change the feel and appearance. We opted for breakfast to be included. The breakfast was a la carte and was delicious and well presented, with a good variety of choices. The staff were great, but the star of the show was Parisa at the front desk. We attended the front desk to book our stay with her assistance. We were staying as part of our silver wedding anniversary. She was amazing and assisted us with every aspect of our booking. A Very informative member of staff who was patient polite and courteous, and clearly a real asset to her team! Thank you Parisa for your assistance.🙂

Brandt was the most amazing host, guiding us on drinks suited to our tastes and local sites to see. Made us feel very welcome and would come back for his hospitality and laughs. Great host and always made us feel welcome and met all our needs. Would come back for Brandt, thanks for restoring our faith in servers, you were amazing!

Excellent hotel Gold experience. Room and amenities were absolutely great. Enjoyed 9th floor guest services, foods, pastries and drinks in a private atmosphere while seeing so much in downtown Vancouver. A must-stay location.
