Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

What an amazing stay! The hotel was gorgeous with several dining options at the hotel and nearby. The staff was friendly and really stepped up when they messed up our room type which really was appreciated since we checked in super late and tired. The room and beds were cozy, though the bathroom was very small for a family of mostly girls! The location is near the train station and an uber ride to the port or airport. There is also a lot to do in the area just a few steps away which made it in the perfect spot for our large family!

Ideally located . Comfortable clean and lovely suite. Staff were all very nice and as helpful as possible. Dining was very poor for both dinner and breakfast . Staff did their best but totally understaffed. Food very disappointing.

Just finished a 4 day stay with my family. Our stay was outstanding. From check in to check out and every employee we encountered our ecxpectations were exceeded. To the birthday surprise and kid amenity delivered to the room soon after check in, room service, dining and concierge knowledge we were made to feel special and important. Here’s to the employees that stood out- Mamas at check in and Vivian at check out. Maribel at the host stand for Notch 8 who put up with my never ending seating pickiness. We appreciated Pedro and Adam for our amazing service at Notch 8. Our cocktails and snacks were on point! Neil and Debbie at the concierge desk. Thanks Neil for the last minute birthday dinner reservation. Thanks to Debbie for the Stanley Park knowledge and for bringing lobby dog Ellie for the pets. Henry with housekeeping was also outstanding. Long review short, we loved our stay, the cleanliness of our room, and proximity to all things downtown Vancouver. Everyone at Fairmont Vancouver went above and beyond! My only criticism is that the pool needs a major redo. We will most definitely be back our next time in Vancouver.

Such a beautiful classic hotel. The room was well maintained and updated the front desk in concierge. Staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a unique visit.

A great location and the Fairmont is a hotel I enjoy staying at. Now I realize this is an d building build back in the late 20's and completed in 1939 but that doesn't mean the hotel rooms cannot be updated. Also for the price per night please get some better towels. They were rough and not comfortable for drying off. Really poor condition. I wouldn't use these to dry my dog. The ged frames are wood and are chipping and scratched and look very bad. Furniture is showing its wear and there are multiple stains all over the carpet so I made sure to keep my socks on. The last Fairmont I stayed in was in Wales and is an example for how the Fairmont chain should be held to. I'm not thrilled about all the condition of the room at all. The hotel is a great location but that's it.
