Nice hotel, lovely staff, good facilities and excellent food. The hotel did not when asked replenish simple items such as coffee - otherwise it would be a 5. Normal range of shops, parking is available and convenient for the waterfront.

I have stayed here 3 times for personal vacation for the value with a mix of higher-end service. The lobby can get very busy and noisy if other events are happening. Notch8 breakfast menu has changed since last booking and was a dissapointment -- no breakfast buffet option or additional side orders. Bar tending staff and service during the evenings is still excellent. I also ended up booking a pedicure at Spa Solea, however, a mandatory 18% service charge was added and the total. Non-Gold guest rooms and their quality are showing age. If you want turn-down nightly service and higher-end luxury, stay at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia for the 5 star experience.

We are in awe with their service and hospitality. My daughter wanted to surprise me for my birthday and it was an easy peasy it was communucating with their guest service. When I opened my room, it was exhilirating. I was welcomed by a bottle of champagne and sweet treats. Not to mention, my go to shop is in their lobby. Glad i booked in Fairmont Burrard Vancouver, thank you to the staff at the reception for being warm and welcoming.

Hotel trading off its legacy and perhaps once upon a time it was Vancouver’s best! Bathroom is tiny, the shower head was broken, water pressure was weak and lukewarm shower each day. Towels and sheets have seen better days. No turndown service. Only 2 towels for 3 people. Reception staff were aloof and unhelpful. Tried to call reception / operator and couldn’t get through for over 15 mins. Went down to Reception and it was acknowledged that they saw my number come up on their phone, but were too busy to answer. No other guests at reception. Barking dog down the hall and gave up as literally nobody to call. Had just come from Four Seasons Whistler and the experiences were chalk and cheese. Better options in Vancouver than this Fairmont.

Rude staff check-in at the bag centre. Old building, much better places to stay elsewhere.
