Fairmont Hotel Vancouver

Amazing stay here to celebrate my hubby's 37th birthday. The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, with plenty of options for meals, drinks, and shopping both on-site and in the surrounding neighborhood. They left a handwritten welcome note for us, and the cleaners gently organized my makeup and hair tools. Absolutely amazing turn-down service. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, and the location was perfect for exploring all that the city has to offer. The quality of service throughout the hotel is top-notch, exactly what you expect for the premium price. Everyone went above and beyond to meet our every need; we felt very pampered. This was our first experience at a Fairmont Hotel, and we are now big fans. The quality is absolutely here. Tip: We saved on parking by parking at the nearby mall instead of at the hotel, but that's just because the hotel had exorbitant parking rates.

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful first-time visit to the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. The location is excellent: close to shopping and many great restaurants. The service was first-class: from the valet attendants to the front desk (including Darcy, Parisa, Sarina and Manas) to Kara (an exceptional Royal Service Agent), the staff prioritized our needs and sought to exceed our expectations. They succeeded. Our room was nice (clean; elegant) but next time I will consider a larger option. The gym was excellent. Large enough that - even with a number of people working out - I had my space. Finally, I highly recommend drinks at Notch8. The setting is a stunning combination of vintage and modern, and the service was top-notch. Next time I’ll order food as well…

We usually enjoy a beautiful hotel such as this, unfortunately not this time. While the hotel was beautiful the staff was not. The clerk checking is in at 4 pm did not have our requested in advance, room ready. We offered to wait but he insisted on another room near the elevator and the pool which was no where near our original request two month earlier. He chose to argue with us instead of offering to help. We never expect this kind of service at any supposedly, fine hotel. Very disappointed. There was a complete lack of customer care here. We will question returning to this hotel again. It did not live up to previous reviews.

I had a lovely one night stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and quiet, with excellent amenities. We made use of the complimentary hotel vehicle in addition to doing a lot of walking. The hotel is well located. I was very happy to secure a special room rate to make this possible!
