Excellent hotel..excellent location Staff was super friendly but not bothersome. Rooms were very clean and exceptional view of the city and harbour. My favorite place to stay💕 breakfast could have better but excellence waitress.
Very nice hotel and location. Pool and hot tub facility could use some updating. No outdoor hot tub either. Everything else was very good and up to the Fairmont quality. Service, cleanliness, and facility were nice.

Dim lighting in the city view room, very inconvenient setup for coffee maker – it’s either at your knee level or if you pull it onto the counter, the cord is short leaving a drawer and cabinet door open and in the way. Can't this be arranged more conveniently for your guest? DO NOT USE YOUR FRIDGE which is packed full of overpriced items. A hostile note at the bottom of the ‘courtesy’ card states you will be charged $20 for putting anything in your fridge. Seriously??? Request the fridge on rollers if you need to refrigerate your milk for coffee/tea in the morning. Why overprice items? This is not for the convenience of your customer. Also, how about stocking milk in the fridge for a Dairy Conference? The bathroom counter is peeling and full of spots so it looks dirty even when it’s clean. No fan in bathroom as mentioned. Only one electric plug-in available bedside. The bed comfort is okay. Make sure you bring your own electronics as they haven’t set it up for you in your room. It was noisy on floor 10. Housekeeping was outstanding, they couldn’t be more kinder or more helpful. Room was very clean. Valet also quick and helpful. Too bad, as the hotel could do so much better. Instead take a short stroll to the incredible luxury, service and view of the Fairmont Pacific Rim. A superior hotel in every way. Or spend your money at the incredible Rosewood Georgia Hotel with it’s outstanding luxury, heated bathroom floors, sumptuous beds and extraordinary electronics, plus right beside Pacific Centre Mall for convenient shopping or try the charming St. Regis. a boutique hotel with outstanding customer service and everything so perfectly tucked away for your convenience. My recommendation would be to give the Waterfront a pass.

The Fairmont waterfront Hotel is just in the best location opposite the wharf where the cruise ships depart and in a great location for visiting the city. The staff and Hotel were just what you expect from the Fairmont group, lovely food and staff that help you with anything you require. The rooms are excellent and modern, very clean and lovely fittings throughout, comfy beds and great showers.

Was great until the day of checkout...we were locked out of our room. They wanted us to pay a hefty bill of all their drinks that come included in the mini fridge. By time I was done dealing with front desk explaining how we only removed their drinks so we could fit the leftovers from their restaurant And the drinks will be going back in the exact same way before we left, Our breakfast went cold and we felt embarrassed after spending so much money at their hotel they would lock us out of our room over something like $100 all while valet was in possession of our vehicle. What the hell did they think we’re gonna do...empty their mini fridge and make a run for it without our vehicle before checkout?!? Ridiculous!
