Located in Downtown Vancouver, this boutique hotel features beautifully-furnished rooms, each with a private balcony. Founded by Greek-born Eleni Skalbania, this family owned property is now managed by her younger daughter, Elpie Marinakis, who has the same passion for hospitality. This Vancouver boutique hotel offers 83 uniquely appointed Guestrooms and Suites, a tranquil day Spa, elegant event rooms for private meeting and parties. The award-winning Bacchus Restaurant and Lounge attention to detail is immediately apparent. You are instantly surrounded by luxury, with richly upholstered furniture, warm, dark cherry wood, and Murano crystal fixtures imported from Venice personally by Eleni herself. A large canvas depicting Bacchus himself, Greek god of wine and revelry, presides over the lounge, the site of Vancouver’s most popular cocktail hour. A favorite spot of locals and celebrities.

The beauty of the hotel grabs you the moment you walk in the lobby. The fire in the fireplace is going and the place is impeccable. The room was very comfortable especially the mattress and pillows. We slept very well! The food in the restaurant was outstanding as well. Every time we came back to the hotel we were welcomed back by staff. Would stay there again.

We stayed at the Wedgewood for a quick trip up to Vancouver during June 2025. We were welcomed immediately by the staff and were accommodated easily, even with our multi-itinerary booking. The rooms are spacious and incredibly comfortable with a stocked minibar and very nice Frette linens. Every day the staff greeted us with warm smiles, suggestions of where to go, restaurants to eat at, and places of interest.

Very very good hotel. Outstanding service and extreme friendly. Best hotel choice in Vancouver. Located directly in downtown.

A magnificent property, with a super-helpful good-spirited staff. The location is ideal right next to the Vancouver Art Gallery (museum really) on a park. It's a short cab ride to the cruise ship port and the airport is easily accessible. The decor is entirely high-end. The hotel's own restaurant is handsome -- a destination all its own. Drawbacks? It is not inexpensive, the ceiling height in the bedrooms and suites is unexpected low, and the windows with their wonderful views are not as large as one might make them if one were building the property today. We look forward to returning for another visit and enjoying the spa next time.

A lovely, elegant, relaxing, comfortable hotel with very helpful and friendly staff, right in middle of downtown Vancouver. Very easy walking distance to Canada Place, sky train access, Stanley Park, restaurants, shops and bars. Rooms are individual but soooo comfortable, with complimentary tea ,coffee and cookies! Husband says its the most comfortable bed he’s ever slept in!
