Wedgewood Hotel & Spa in Vancouver, Canada

Vancouver, British Columbia is a decidedly urban and delightfully small town at the same time. It's this intriguing fusion that's best captured at the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa, an intimate boutique property surrounded by waterfalls and gardens on downtown's fashionable Robson Square. This privately owned hotel features personal touches at every turn, from fine antiques to original works of art. Bouquets of fresh flowers fill the guestrooms, and Penthouse Suites boast their own fireplaces and beautiful views. Along with fine dining, the sensuous Bacchus restaurant is home to weekend brunch, traditional high tea and a well-tended cocktail bar.

Ready to explore the city? Prepare yourselves with a treatment at the hotel spa and then discover a colorful blend of European and Pacific Rim flavors. Stroll the scenic shoreline in Stanley Park, linger in the magnificent rose garden in Butchart Gardens and tempt your taste buds in the vibrant public market on Granville Island . In this dynamic metropolis you'll discover the second largest Chinatown in North America. And it's just minutes to Grouse Mountain, where you can tandem paraglide or simply marvel at the city views.

Cannot express how great our stay was at your hotel...Please inform us of any specials you may have, as we cannot wait to return to Vancouver and stay at the Wedgewood. The time in your spa was so welcome and the people there went over the top to help and make sure we were satisfied. The food and drink and help and advice at the check-in counter was wonderful.

Wonderful service, comfortable rooms, good dining. We’ll stay here whenever we visit Vancouver BC from now on. Having the balcony off our room was an unexpected bonus. The spa treatment could not have been any better. Recommend aesthetician Concepcion.

We enjoyed the warmth of the hotel. It was our first stay at the Wedgewood Hotel and we were made to feel at home. We often visit the Bacchus lounge when in Vancouver so took the opportunity to have a leisurely drink there and also breakfast. We ate in the restaurant for dinner. Service was excellent and food tasty. I appreciated how well they catered to my gluten free allergy. We will be back.

The Wedgewood had all of the attributes hoped for in a top-notch hotel, but it also had that something precious that few others have - the warm serenity of knowing that all of your desires will be met, if at all possible. Clients leave feeling that they have been with a dear friend or a favourite family member.

Living in a Vancouver suburb, my wife and I often choose to celebrate our anniversary by having a day of shopping, dinner and a stay overnight at a hotel “downtown “. This year we chose to do that at the Wedgewood with dinner at Bacchus (there is a separate review we have done for the restaurant ). We were most definitely not disappointed with our choice. Absolutely everything about our stay was superior! The staff made every effort to make us feel special, from the doorman to the the front desk (Curtis) and everyone else with which we had any dealings. The building and the rooms are elegant, charming and kept in top condition. The location is right in the downtown core with everything you could need in easy walking distance. As this was our anniversary, there were a number of things that I requested the concierge arrange for me and all were done exactly as asked. In addition, the hotel having become aware of the event we were celebrating, added a number of extra touches to our stay such as a personalized noted from the director, a small box of chocolates and even a ‘Happy Anniversary “ creme brûlée in the restaurant. All in all, a most memorable time. We will be returning in the future.
