We really savored our time at this lovely hotel. Despite the old time elegance the quality and kindness of the service is what struck us the most. The staff is eager to please in every way. The Bacchus dining area and bar is really striking both for breakfast and at the bar in the evening. We loved it!

I have stayed in numerous hotels throughout my life. I rate three amongst the best in the world -Amigo Brussels, Auberge Sainte Antoine Quebec and now the Wedgwood. This traditional family owned hotel is impeccable with beautiful appointments superb rooms and attentive staff. I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a special experience.

We recently stayed at the Wedgewood for our anniversary and honestly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were met with phenomenal customer service, wonderful extras and amazing staff. We arrived to check in and out room wasn't ready. I was feeling particularly disheveled as we had just arrived from a day on the slopes and just wanted to freshen up. The representative at the front desk apologized and had the manager come out. I was surprised because we weren't angry about the room in any way, a little gross feeling, but otherwise we were more than happy to wait for the room to be ready. The manager apologized profusely and let us know that we had been given an upgrade to a beautiful suite with a jacuzzi! We were blown away. The room was breathtaking. The decor is perfect and the room was clean and very well maintained. I loved the little extras they put into their bathrooms like the L'Occitane products, the Epsom salts for the bath and beautiful tile work, it truly felt like an oasis. We hadn't been there 15 mins when there was a knock on the door. We were given special designer chocolates and a welcome note for our anniversary! They were wonderful. After we had both cleaned up, we were excited to have a special dinner at their restaurant and we were NOT disappointed. The service was the best I'd ever experienced. The staff were knowledgeable, incredibly attentive and very personable. There was a live pianist playing in the bar and took requests as well. We were surprised in the restaurant with complimentary champagne, an h'ordeuvre and later a dessert. After (a very large) dinner, the maitre d and our server Joel offered to take us into the lobby to take photos with the fireplace. Returning to our room after dinner, we found that cookies had been placed for us by our bedside. Checking in/out was very smooth and the valet service was very fast and friendly. The entire experience felt like a fairy tale, I can't say enough good things about our experience here and how fantastic they treated us on our special day. I would suggest staying & dining here to anyone looking for somewhere special! You will not be disappointed. Thank you again to all of the staff for making us truly feel like special guests.

We recently had a wonderful stay at the hotel to celebrate a special occasion. As we are from Vancouver, we don't get the opportunity to enjoy our city's own fine hotels. What a fantastic hotel. Where to start? The customer service certainly stands out, from the valet, to the front desk, to the reservations agents, and to anyone you encounter in the hotel. Everyone makes you feel warmly welcomed. The location could not be better as you at the heart of everything. The suite was exquisitely appointed as well. This hotel is certainly worthy of its amazing reviews and well worth a stay the next time you are in Vancouver.
