Reviews for Chateau Vaudreuil

My favorite hotel!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

My lat stay was in November 2023, but I have stayed at Chateau Vaudreuil many times and was never disappointed. In fact, I was impressed every single time for so many different reasons. Rooms: My usual choice would the Classic Suite, which is perfect for a couple or a family, but I have also stayed in the regular room, the Unique Suite and the Elegant Suite. They are all very nicely decorated and classy. The coffee offered is great, the bed is comfy, the bathroom is clean and spacious. Grounds: Beautiful inside out. You feel so good as soon as you walk in. The lobby area may not be as large as some other hotels in terms of the size, but the ambiance throughout the hotel is so elegant and classic, I love it so much! It is perfect to take a walk outside around the hotel along the lake. Pool & Spa: One of THE reasons why I choose to come here! As the pool and the spa are indoor, you can enjoy it no matter the weather or the season. Very well kept and clean. Restaurant: Food is delicious and service is top notch. Drinks are good, too. My favorite part is the live music played there. During the day, you may hear beautiful guitar solo playing and then more lively entertaining music in the evenings. You can dance, as well, and totally family friendly, not just for the adults, which is a bonus. Service: Excellent. I have actually never had any unpleasant interaction with any of their staff. Never. Just to reflect on my latest visit in November 2023, from the nicest gentleman at the entrance to the front desk staff to the restaurant staff, everyone was professional and pleasant. We were first told no when we asked to have a specific table while making a reservation at the restaurant, because the that section was closed. No problem, we completely understood (my family is also in a restaurant business so we get it ;) but to our surprise, we were seated at that very table when we went back at the reserved time. The whole section was supposed to be closed, but they still accommodated our request. Just little details like this make a huge difference and they definitely pay attention to those details. Plus: While many hotels now require customers to bring their own robes or to buy the hotel's, Chateau Vaudreuil still offers them for free and they are OUT OF THIS WORLD! I have never wore any robes softer and more comfortable than theirs. You can buy them so BUY THEM! They wrap it so nicely, too, it would be perfect for gifts. I bought one for my husband for Christmas and he wears it all the time now. I will be back with my family in less than 2 weeks for Victoria weekend and cannot wait!! Keep up the good work!!! :)

A wonderful family experience

Staying at the Chateau was a wonderful experience, so much more than just a place to sleep. We booked three suites for our family and we were just delighted with the comfortable accommodation, the beautiful setting and the warmth of every single member of the staff. Our grandchildren will remember this place fondly for a long time.

Very nice but VERY noisy…

We were here for a wedding. I think that’s what this place does well and only that. If your coming here for a quiet couple get away forget it. Place is essentially a wedding factory. The staff does. Avery good job at making everyone have a good time. Downside is it’s very very very loud. Just don’t come here for a couples get away or you will not get any sleep.

The Best.

This place is well worth adding to life's experiences. It is expansive, with well maintained grounds, a waterfront onto the Saint Lawrence and lovely views. Whilst 45 minute drive to downtown Montreal it's price is less than half mid-range hotel there and no parking (charge) headache. It is a five star experience. At 7.00 am the drive to YUL Airport less than 30 minutes. As to room comfort you can not do better. We have traveled fairly widely in the world and can attest this is of the best

Luxury Getaway

This one of a kind property exudes sophistication. From the beautifully manicured grounds to the heated indoor pool to the gorgeous decor inside the hotel, everything was perfect. The room was very comfortable with luxurious bedding. The Marie d’ Oile pillows were so heavenly, I bought 2! I ordered room service, which was delicious. Parking is free. Park in any available spot as the numbers on the spots don’t mean anything. My one suggestion is the hotel should have a book or binder in the room detailing particulars such as room service hours, when and where to pick up the free canoes, kayaks and bicycles and the hours for using these amenities.
