This was our third stay at the hotel and Mame made the trip exceptional. During our week-long stay at the NH Palazzo dei Dogi, one of the highlights of our experience was Mame, who took care of us each day. Her kindness and professionalism stood out immediately. Mame provided exceptional service. She was attentive without ever being intrusive, anticipated what we might need, and even remembered our daily orders, which made us feel incredibly cared for. It’s rare to encounter someone who embodies true hospitality so naturally. Mame created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that elevated our entire stay. She is a true asset to the hotel, and we are so grateful for the care she showed us each day.

A wonderful hotel with warm & welcoming staff. Very classy and elegant interior with the unusual bonus (for Venice) of a tranquil garden to enjoy. The Hotel is in a quiet area but well connected with boat services to anywhere in the area.

My husband and I had an awful experience here, unfortunately. Our room was filled with countless mosquitos. Any time we were in our room, we chased mosquitos. Each night, we stayed awake late trying to rid our room of these bugs so we could eventually go to sleep. On average, we caught around 20 or more every night, but learned the hard way they were never completely gone- we woke up every morning with many bites. We called for help after the first night and were given a plug-in repellent, which did no good at all. Sadly, we missed out on daily housekeeping because we had to control the number of times our room door was opened and left open (to prevent entry to more mosquitos). Part of a great getaway is the pampering that comes with daily cleaning and turn-down services, which we had to forfeit. This was a big milestone birthday celebration and our first time in Venice. Unfortunately, our special trip was overtaken by hunting mosquitos, being bitten throughout the night and being unable to relax in our room. Would I stay here again? Absolutely not. And I would not recommend it to others.

The hotel is conveniently located near a public water taxi drop off. There was one young lady that was not very friendly during both of our interactions with her. She seemed to be put off by our request for a restaurant recommendation and for additional water. However, the rest of the staff were amazing, accommodating, and very friendly. The morning breakfast was outstanding and spread out in three separate rooms ( 5 stars for their service and fantastic quality). The hotel is in a very quiet location with an easy 25 minute walk to St. Mark's and the train station. The room we stayed in was very clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. We really enjoyed our stay here and very happy with choosing this hotel.
