Charming hotel in a charming part of Venice

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 11 hours ago

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years, the last time in June by myself. The ownership has apparently changed hands, but the hotel is still more or less the same. Great location in the Dorsoduro away from the crowds in San Marco, but close to everything that matters by foot. The hotel is unique in design. Breakfast is excellent. I had dinner two nights in the front outdoor area. Very good. Tough to find a hotel of this quality at this price in Venice. The room was quiet, the shower big (I am 6"5" so it matters), and the bed large and comfortable.I took the water taxi from the train station, but with light luggage it could be walked without a problem. Academia Bridge is 100 meters away as is the water taxi station. I jumped on to a water taxi, and it dropped me off at Harry's Bar for lunch in 10 minutes. I am 86 years old so it is comforting to know that old guys can still have fun in Venice.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous design, kind and amazing staff!

We had a lovely stay for 5 nights, loved the room and design as well as the breakfast. The hotel is beautiful and well located, easy to get to main areas for tourism as well as the water bus. The staff also helped with dinner recommendations and even helped accommodate us and arrange for transport when we needed medical help and to go to the hospital. We’re so grateful for the kind and considerate team at Ca’Pisani!

We had an amazing stay at Ca’ Pisani Hotel in Venice! The location couldn’t be better—close to everything yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The staff were absolutely fantastic—warm, professional, and always ready to help. Our deluxe room was beautifully appointed, with thoughtful details and lovely turn-down service each night. The food was excellent, and the rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the sunset—truly unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

Wonder stay in Venice

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Ca'Pisani is a wonderful hotel just enough off the beaten path to allow an escape from the tourist areas while being a close walk to the sights of Venice. The hotel is beautifully furnished, the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very quiet. The staff was tremendously gracious and helpful allowing you to feel pampered and cared for. Our package included a wonderful buffet breakfast and tickets to the Guggenheim museum which we appreciated.

We have just returned from two luxury link trips ( back to back trips to Reggio Emilia and then Venice). The trip was flawless and fabulous. The Ca' Pisani had recently been renovated into a design hotel from the Art Deco era. They spared no detail. Our suite was a two-level dream connected by a glass stairwell and the sleeping room upstairs had a glass floor. Our huge windows opened to the path and plaza where a lone violinist played in the mornings. Their breakfasts were unbelievable, complete with homemade preserves and some of the best coffee we had--all served with amazing cheer. And a quick drink on the rooftop terrace refreshed us before dinner and more hours of walking this amazing city.

“We stayed at the Ca' Pisini in Venice. Not only was the room large and nicely appointed, the staff was a delight. We were late for breakfast one morning and early (day of departure), and both times they opened the cafe for us. That would never happen at most hotels. Restaurant suggestions were perfect and the front desk staff was very friendly. I would gladly stay again with this hotel.”

Ca' Pisani Hotel is simply a delightful place. The linens were excellent and the melanzane-filled gnocchi at dinner was to die for!
