On a quiet street between the Grand Canal and the Giudecca a block from the Accademia bridge and vapporetto stop. While the streets all around it are characteristically crowded the street the hotel is on is active enough to be interesting while eating breakfast outside while giving the feeling you're away from the madness a busy day in Venice is. That said its well located to the attractions and to the neighborhoods away from those attractions where you can feel the real Venice a bit still. We stayed in a nicely appointed deluxe small suite. A bedroom, nice sitting room and a more than adequate if somewhat funky bathroom. Staff was accommodating , friendly and knowledgeable. Nice breakfast in front of the hotel and you can sit outdoors and watch the mourning action, tourist and neighborhood stroll by. I'd stay there again for sure.

Perfect location and friendly, helpful staff. Great decor and artwork throughout the hotel. Junior suite accommodations were spacious, clean and comfortable. Good selection for breakfast daily, with impeccable service.

Cannot fault this hotel in a perfect location away from the madness of San Marco but close enough to walk there easily over Accedemia bridge right next to the hotel. Good local restaurants and bars close by in a lovely area on the city. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel in preference to the grand waterside hotels we have stayed in before.

Central location. Elegant decor. True king-sized bed. First class service. Amazing roof top deck. The food was perfect, especially the breakfasts. The art work and historical details around the hotel were truly world class, not to forget you are right beside the most important gallery in Venice. Private and very secure accommodation.

Stayed again at this hotel again on our recent trip to Venice. Have stayed there 3 times now and always are given room 9. The hotel is very close to the vaporetto terminals at each end of the street. We always get the same room ( room 9) and fine very large and comfortable room. The Breakfast is always very good and has a large selection. The staff are friendly and helpfull.
