This review is long overdue! I stayed at the lovely Ca'Pisani hotel with my then boyfriend (we go engaged later on in our trip), the first time for both of us visiting Italy. We cannot recommend this gem enough! Ahead of our stay, I wrote to the staff asking for a room upgrade and they gave us a beautiful art deco appointed room on the top floor (and brought Champagne to our room as well)! We knew we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of St Marks and found Dorsoduro to be the perfect place to make as our base. The location of the hotel is great- by the Accademia bridge and Zarette vaperetto stop, however it was the welcoming and always accommodating staff that made our stay so memorable. We had tons of questions and also had an issue with our water taxi to the airport and they helped us with everything! Thank you, Ca' Pisani for such a memorable stay in beautiful Venice!

First of all, the location was outstanding--easy to find on a wider street, close to the Accademia Bridge (so convenient to vaporettos, St. Marks, etc) but yet felt removed from the main tourist rush. Second, the facilities were beautiful--room was spacious, common areas very artistic. Third, breakfast was excellent--a great variety of meats, fruit, pastries, and hot foods to choose from. Highly recommended--an excellent value!

Absolutely loved my 6 night stay here. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful, the rooms are large and beautiful, the bathrooms divine. Breakfast is a spread not to be believed, and the wifi is fast. We researched restaurants before our trip, but the staff gave us insider tips and our favorites were the ones they recommended. Incredibly well located, with a stop on either side, it's simple to get around. Also easy to go over the bridge to the other side, really loved the area.

A truly first-rate, elegant hotel near several vaporetto stops, great restaurants, and the Zattere. The staff are helpful and welcoming, the rooms are large and very clean (a bonus in ours was 2 separate bathrooms, which averted all kinds of getting-out-in-the-morning problems), and the breakfast is copious and delicious. We felt well taken care of. My only quibbles? A surprisingly tiny television that was very difficult to watch if you are the one viewing from the side of the bed furthest from the screen. And, in our case, the space between our ceiling and the upstairs floor was either not well insulated, or the various guests who stayed in the room above ours during our stay were particularly heavy on their feet. That aside, staying at Ca' Pisani helped make our week in Venice everything we'd hoped it would be, and is certainly my Venetian hotel of choice.

Just spent 4 nights in this hotel for my husbands birthday. We have stayed many times in Venice and this was the best hotel yet. The room was excellent as was the breakfast. However what made it special was the welcoming and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they always made sure we wanted for nothing. We will definitely book again the next time we come to Venice.
