We had a wonderful 4night stay in this charming Art Deco hotel. The moment we stepped through t he doors we were greeted by a lovely receptionist, Marco went out of his way to welcome us and show us to our room. This was equally delightful on two floors. Very quiet when the windows are closed. A Dyson fan meant that we could stay cool whist in the room. Tea and coffee making facilities on each floor with very good quality coffee pods provided. A good supply of lush toiletries each day and a chocolate each was left by the housekeeper when they turned back the beds in the evening. The breakfast choices were varied, hot and cold with something for everyone. Overall this hotel could not be faulted. We arrived around 19.00 at San Marco airport. As it was dark and late we decided to take the bus from the airport to the bus station. From there we took a water bus to Achedemia Bridge. Three minutes walk to Ca Pisani from the bridge. We had researched travel from the airport and decided on this route for two reasons. A) the water bus takes 1 1/2 hours, bus no 5 takes 25minutes, water bus 25 minutes, total travel time 50 minutes. Bus tickets can be purchased inside the terminal opposite the exit door. €15 each return. The no 5 bus stop is on the left immediately outside the terminal exit door. Water bus tickets can be purchased at the water bus stop adjacent to the bus station where you have just alighted the no 5 bus. €7 each single. By far for us this was the most direct route. Apart from the fact that we were tired when our plane landed. It was dark so we wouldn't have seen much from the water bus. The hotel is well placed to walk to most sights. Coffee shops are a plenty, prices are similar to UK, however expect to pay double if you choose to sit at a coffee shop on St, Marks square. Eateries are also a plenty. As are Pannini shops. Gondola trips are € 80 for two. Some parts of the canals have a strong odour. This city does not cater for pushchairs or wheelchairs as far as we could see. There are so many bridges, beautiful as they are one needs strong upper muscles to carry those pushchairs up and down. We're very glad that we visited in March. I believe it's crazy during the summer. We did not encounter many queues. Highly recommend a trip to Venice.

We stayed 2 nights in March and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations and location of Ca' Pisani. The entire staff (front desk, restaurant and housekeeping) was incredibly helpful and professional. We found the complimentary breakfast excellent with fantastic coffee and a nice variety of food options. The Dorsduro location was perfect for us, just far enough away from the busy/noisy St Mark's square and an easy 3-5 minute walk from the Zattere stop. We accidently passed by it when we first arrived, we thought it would be further and weren't paying attention. We quickly realized our mistake when we reached the Accademia bridge. The only thing I'd do differently for our trip would be our transportation from the airport. We took the public service water bus (blue line) and found it incredibly slow, it was however very inexpensive $15 euro per person. If time is limited I'd take a water taxi. Overall I'd recommend and would definitely stay again in the future, we really enjoyed our time in Venice.

Lovely hotel and easily accessed - only yards from the water taxi. Perfect location as we did not want to be in the 'centre', but only minutes from St Mark's Square. Staff friendly and very helpful. Definitely recommend Ca' Pisani Hotel.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel, we were joined by 4 of our friends. All rooms were fantastic, and the location was so perfect. An added plus, it's easy to find - unlike another stay in the main San Marco area. The evening walks were so lovely without a ton of people, very peaceful with all the tremendous charm of Venice. Nearby restaurants - great. Peggy Guggenheim Museum was the best Guggenheim I've been too (NYC, Bilbao). The morning free breakfast filled us up for the day - coffee ! We stayed here before going on a Viking Ocean cruise, and transport to the Cruise terminal was very easy.

Everything was as expected or better. Location was great to reach all areas of Venice with ease without being too central. The complimentary trip to Maurno island was a great way for us on a short stay to see a lot of Venice. Sleep quality was put as average because our bed was creaky and we spent two nights waking each other up if we moved! I'm sure not all the rooms are like this it just needs replacing.
