The Sagredos bought the palace in the middle of the 17th Century and assembled an art collection of more than 800 paintings and 2,000 drawings dating from the Renaissance. Old School Luxury
This property is an ideal location on the water next door to Gondola Traghetto di Santa Sofia and the Ca' D'Oro vaporetto stop & steps away from many restaurants & shops. Short walk from the Rialto Bridge & St Mark’s Square. Beautiful onsite restaurant with outdoor seating (see pics). Gorgeous rooftop terrace with a spectacular view of the Canal Grande. The suite is like a step back in time with well appointed furnishings and touches but needs some updating (pillows, carpeting, lighting). Room was sizeable with a living area, sitting room & steps to a terrace door (that did not open). The bath products had a wonderful rose scent that melted away the lingering stress of travel. Luggage & closet area was spacious enough for 2 travellers. No iron, board or clothes steamer in room. Ice available on request. Mini fridge & snacks in sitting room. If you are before check-in time, you can leave your bags with front desk (while you explore the town) & they can help bring them to your room when you check in. Great stay if you just need a place to rest but probably not ideal if you need to work in-room because the lighting is not great & the outlets are not ideally located. Desk furnishings are more suitable for writing (not for laptops). Very quiet room.

Great stay
A wonderful hotel. Great setting on the Grand Canal. Really good food. Lovely to eat on the outside terrace overlooking the Canal. Huge room with all amenities. We knew there was no tea and coffee making facilities before we went so no suprise. Helpful staff. Beautiful rooms and amazing staircase.

A truly once in a lifetime experience!
I booked this place as the grand finale surprise for my wife to end our multi-week European honeymoon trip and man did it live up to the hype and more! The palace itself is truly beautiful and 100% captures the feeling of living in a historic museum especially with its grand staircase which is surreal in and of itself, but on top of that the staff were so incredibly kind as to give us a complimentary upgrade straight to their flagship grand suite with THREE standing balconies facing the grand canal! I quite literally almost cried when he showed us our suite which was almost the size of my house. Of course the room was incredible (as you can probably see from these pictures) and even better value for how much I actually paid! But I also did want to give an especially big shout out to Ricardo at the front desk--an incredibly kind and friendly man who went above and beyond in helping us figure out our plans for the trip, having literally sat down with us and drawn out recs upon recs to make sure the entire time we were there we had great options for things to do and see and eat! I literally cannot believe my luck at having ended my wife and I's honeymoon in a literal palatial suite and would recommend literally anyone who has the privilege to afford a stay here to visit and have the experience of a lifetime; it truly does not get better than this.

Hotel was lovely and breakfast included was great. Dinner in restaurant on grand camel was very disappointing! Presentation poor, food not hot and way over priced. Bad dinner.

Ca'Sagredo SLH on Grand Canal
Lovely Small Luxury Hotel right on the Grand Canal. Steps from main pedestrian street leading to shops, restaurants, canals, etc...Gondola and vaporetto locations right out the entrance. Minutes from Rialto Bridge. Free breakfadt buffet in glorious ballroom under exquisite frescos. Expensive on-site dinner restaurant. Spacious rooms, some with windows looking out to the Grand Canal.

Ca' Sagredo was a delightful experience. Located on the Grand Canal, just a stone's throw from the water bus stop and with its own water taxi dock for those who prefer that method of transfer, it was easy to get to. The hotel itself is very pleasant with an outside dining area right on the canal, or a small inside dining room. We had dinner one night at the hotel and found it to be delicious. The staff was competent and pleasant, and the room comfortable and reasonably spacious. I would recommend the hotel.

The setting on the Grand Canala made our fiftieth wedding anniversary really special. The Ca' Sagredo was a perfect spot to experience the magic and romantic history of Venice. The hotel is palatial with lovely murals, exquisite floors, classical furniture, glistening chandeliers and Murano glass light fixtures. The entire hotel staff was superlative and incredibly charming and helpful. The restaurant was excellent with a lavish breakfast buffet and candlelight dinners overlooking the gondolas and boats on the canal. The piece de resistance was our rooftop terrace attached to our luxurious suite. This is a hotel to remember and re-visit.

We spent four wonderful nights at the Ca' Sagredo Hotel. We found the staff to be efficient, helpful and courteous. They were unobtrusive yet available when we needed their assistance. The room was magnificent and very comfortable. It was cleaned quickly and well each morning, usually while we were out at breakfast. We were promised the best view available on our arrival and they followed through on the promise. Our water view room was only one back from the rooms fronting the canal and since it was on the third floor, the view was stunning. The food served at breakfast was delicious, offered a wide selection, and was served in two beautiful rooms by very gracious staff. From the minute we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and each staff member we encountered from our first contact to our last was wonderful. The hotel is truly a beautiful palace and we appreciate the excellent service provided by the entire staff.
