Reviews for Palace Bonvecchiati
Palace Bonvecchiati is a beautiful hotel -- clean and classy -- near the piazza San Marcos (a very convenient and special location). Breakfasts offered a good variety and was excellent. We also dined at the restaurant in the hotel ("La Terrazza") and it was delicious. The caprese salad was both beautiful and delicious. I had the seafood risotto alla pescatora, and it was fantastic. Well worth the visit.

Fine, but nothing special. The hotel has a modern look which we liked. The location is near Piazza San Marco. But our “deluxe” room was small, and the shower had no curtain so water got everywhere. We were in room 255 which was over the alley and it got very very loud at times (bring ear plugs!), plus the walls seem thin because we could hear the tv next door. On the positive side, the closet was huge and the mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was nothing special - basically what you would see at a 3 star Hilton or Marriott; cereal, fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs and a meat and cheese plate. Coffee was good though. They don’t tell you this but, if you ask, you can get eggs made to order. The gym was small: 1 treadmill, a bike, a small set of dumbbells, a few machines. But the “spa” is a joke (I don’t think the sauna was even turned on), the water dispenser was empty and it didn’t have the amenities of a 4 star hotel. Maybe that’s just how it is in Venice.

newly furnished rooms through walking distance from Rialto bridge and San marco with many dining options around.staff very helpful and very very clean rooms.Could be considered as 5 star.Breakfast was rich.Highly recommend it.
Venice - the city of water and gondola's ever where you can see. The hotel is nice and on the modern side. If you were looking for the traditional European hotel, I don't really think this is it; however the rooms were very nice and we were fortunate enough to have a really large terrace, with outdoor seating/furniture. I really enjoyed the hotels, on our group tour, not all being the same. I think the terrace was as large as our room, with views of mostly the rooftops of the buildings in front of us. However there was a small window of opportunity on the one side of the terrace, where you could actually just sit there and watch the gondola's glide by - now that was the view I really wanted to see. And even though it was small to us, it was still spectacular, since the rest of our group were not fortunate enough to have anything exterior (balconies and/or terraces).... From this location, we could walk in town and go for a gondola ride, or pick up a water taxi to visit the nearby glass makers, etc. Again, great location and amenities.
except one thing, a little glass sheld in the bathroom that could prevent splashing water all over . everting alse is wonderful. one can say that this is minor, very minor, but when you go out of the shower and every thing is wet it not so wonderful. the service is exselet, the room is very comfortable, the breakfast is nice and the hotel is very modern.
