First trip to Italy for wife and I. And first hotel in Italy. Absolutely great hotel. Staff. Accommodations. Location restaurant clean just loved it. Boat ride from airport right to front of hotel. More modern hotel but didn't take away from experience at all. Would totally stay again.

Came for a 3 day visit. Good location and room are ok, although do not open the windows as it smells strongly like food. Also you are basically facing a wall. Service at the breakfast is terrible, you feel like you are disturbing the staff. Terribly organized. Don't recommend for another stay.

We stayed here for 3-nights in mid-May and absolutely loved the hotel. We were upgraded to one of the Junior suites, room #370 and it was amazing! The room is quite large, had a king size bed with great sheets and pillows, a small sitting area, small TV, separate closet, and fantastic bathroom. The wi-fi which is included was pretty good, only cutting out a couple of times. The breakfast which was also included was great, lots of variety and well stocked. What was special about this place was the service. Other reviews mentioned poor staff interactions but our interactions were great. Our check-in was easy, the staff member was polite and courteous and efficient. The bellman that showed us to our room as great and the breakfast staff were very pleasant and efficient. But the room staff really go above and beyond. Every time we left our room, they were in there tidying up and really making the place amazing! The kept everything organized, clean and brought fresh linens several times a day (despite the note saying they wouldn't replace linens unless they were on the floor). It felt like VIP treatment. We really like the location of the hotel as we could go and see all the sights, but then pop back to the hotel for some much-needed respite. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to be close to all the major attractions of Venice!

Considering we went here sight unseen, it turned out to be a great place. Just steps away form San Marco and on a great street, this place has one of the best breakfasts in Europe, with great American style coffee (critical for me to start my day!). Front desk staff, friendly and helpful. The "make a reservation" style whirlpool/spa is a bit weird but you can still get a good soak in, if you want to, after a day of walking around the city. I will stay here again when I return to Venice.

Well located hotel with very clean, modern and well sized rooms near San Marco. Has its own canal entrance if you want the expensive personal water taxi from the airport. For those, like us, looking for cheaper transport, using the Alilaguna orange line water buses, and getting off at the Rialto bridge stop was easy and an interesting way to arrive. 5 minutes easy walking to the hotel. The main downsides were the general anonymity of the hotel and the poor breakfasts, a good 2 stars below the hotel's rating. Very limited and monotonous cooked breakfast. Most ingredients of a cheap and poor quality. If you like to pump your jam/spreads using a lever on a large glass syringe, then this could be for you. You could certainly eat as many calories as you like, but fresh fruit, quality bread and good coffee were not to be found. Also, while there seemed to be plenty of staff around, they restricted themselves to setting, clearing tables and chatting. Serving clients directly did not seem to happen. You had the feeling the hotel did not have to try, so it didn't. Mind you, that seemed to apply to a lot of the eating establishments in Venice.
