There's a lot to love about this hotel...but it's the little things that make it overpriced. You can't control your own room temperature (it's done centrally by hotel staff) and we lost hot water. Not the worst thing in the world, but at £420/night a hot shower is a must. To be fair, the hotel compensated us for the inconvinience...but the faults mounted to the point where I'd select somewhere else. The rooms are small and clad in mirrors (not for the shy!). It's in a quiet location, away from the bustle of Plaza San Marco, yet easily accessible to all the delights of Venice. The hotel is very chic and the decor is uber-cool...but Venice is not a city for lounging about in a boutique hotel. It's a very good hotel...just a touch pricey for what you get..

When we arrived at the hotel the staff assisting with luggage instead multiple times on taking our personal bags. We insisted that we will take it ourselves. When our belongings with valuables were left unattended during lunch someone went through our belongings and stole cash. I will never stay at this hotel again. The suit is situated away from the main entrance and requires a separate key. It was over priced and for this money you should stay at the aman where both the food is better and the people and staff are less likely to steal from you. When we told the manager. Nothing was done. The air conditioning in the room is controlled by staff at the front desk and they will chose a temperature they feel is fit for you. The showers are small and in spite of a large shower head it drips out at its own convince. DO Not leave your valuables unattended. Very disappointed. Will never stay in this hotel again. Also the table with the chandales is not used for anything it's just there for decoration. Also occasionally a strange Oder enters the room and is unbearable. The air on vent has mold in it and hasn't been cleaned since the time this hotel opened.

I found this hotel on my Starwood hotels app and selected the 2 bedroom apartment which looked nice. Boy was I wrong, the pictures they used for the suite looked nothing like the suite did in the real, the price was outrageous €1430 a night and a rip off. The worst part we walked into the suite and immediately noticed the sewage/methane gas smell that was very strong, first thing we did was run the showers and flush the toilets thinking it would help. We left the room for 5hrs came back and right when we opened the suite door it was like a Mike Tyson punch to the face the methane gas sewage smell was way worse to the point my friend started to dry heave. I went to the front desk and asked to speak with the Manager, the younger guy working the desk told me the manager would be out shortly. We explained to the gentleman that the methane gas smell was beyond over powering and couldn't stay in that room because the smell was so bad and it posed a health risk, he was nice enough. He then went into this little side room came back out and said that he just spoke with the manager and they offered us the same room one floor below. We checked that one out it smelled the exact same. So once again I asked to speak with the manager who refused to come talk to us so I told them I wanted a full refund since they made us pre pay the full amount and I'm moving hotels. The fact that the manager never came out to talk with us was beyond crazy and also that they refused to refund my money. The gentleman told me the manager would call me the next day which he never did nor did he the following day. I tried calling still radio silence. This is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. This place is terrible never stay here they could careless about you or helping you. I booked a suite at the Aman which is above and beyond amazing and it was the same price as this place but actually a real 5 star luxury resort that has outstanding customers service rooms and amenities. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST.

It's a nice, comfortable boutiquey hotel close to the Accademia bridge that's quiet and stylish. Rooms are on the small side but have everything you need. Service is great and it's a two second walk to the San Samuele taxi stop. And did I mention they have Fornasetti chairs in the guest rooms?

Private water taxi is the way to arrive at Palazzina G - 30 minutes from Marco Polo Airport through the middle of Venice to the door of the hotel. You will immediately relax with a welcome smile and a drink in this quiet, secluded hotel 10 minutes walk from all the sights of Venice. There is even a private terrace where you can enjoy a cocktail before heading out to dinner.
