We stayed at Sparkling Hills Resort for my wife's birthday and took advantage of their November special for Okanagan locals. Pretty much the whole stay was a positive experience. Our room was beautiful and the whole resort was nothing short of 5 star. If I had to give some shortcomings, I would say that there would only be some minor issues. The first was finding the resort. The first round-a-bout you come to does not have any signage telling you which exit to use. This was weird since there were signs at pretty much all other turns and exits. The second thing to mention, at least for us, was when they said that check in was 4:00...they meant it. We arrived about 15 minutes early and were informed that our room was not ready. When we arrived at the room, it was absolutely beautiful and well designed. Robes and towels were provided, but slippers were missed...but were delivered shortly after I called to the front desk. A full hot buffet breakfast was also included with our stay. At the end of day, I can say that we will definitely be going back to this resort and would highly recommend it to other locals and travelers who are looking for a relaxing stay or get-away.

First the good - awesome views on lake side, beautiful room, nice, clean amenities. The not so good - kaos at check in - craziness with everyone parking wherever with no one to direct where we should be. Hauling our luggage across an uncleared parking lot to stand in a line up for 1/2 an hour to check in.....only to repeat this craziness on check out - we waited a good 30 minutes once again to have the car arrive covered in a foot of snow! There were at least 10 of us standing outside hoping we'd win the lotto and have our vehicle be the next he'd bring up. If Valet parking is mandatory they really need to get organized. How to put a bad spin on an otherwise nice stay.

This is an incredible place to come and visit! My wife and I make it a point to come in here and visit here multiple times a year. It's a very relaxing, beautiful and scenic Resort. They have two restaurants in house, and there's a town nearby called Vernon that you can eat out as well. You come here to relax, be sure to get it Lakeview room when booking. It is very Scenic and beautiful.

We had a one night stay here @ Sparkling Hill for our Anniversary on Nov 9. We didn't expect It was snowing so badly that we would have a real struggle going up in the mountain to the resort w/ our FWD rental car equipped w/ snow tires!! So we ended up parking in the parking lot of Predator Lodge down the hill for the night and asked Sparkling Hill for help. At first, a female agent told us they don't have shuttle service, and started going thru the cancellation policy w/ us!!! Like WTH? We were 5 mins away from you struggling going up to your resort, instead of helping us, you were asking us if we would like to cancel it? What kind of stupid agent you have working there? So we phoned back again 15 mins after (5:45 PM) a manager from Predator Lodge fitness centre told us that she's seen shuttles passing by from Sparkling Hill all day for their guests. This time the agent, Ryan, told us he will arrange a valet (Mike) to come and pick us up in 30 mins. (what a relief since the other female agent'd told us there is no shuttle, WHAT A LIE HUH?) It's a shame we didn't catch the agent. Anyway,we had a very pleasant stay at Sparkling Hill for our anniversary. They gave us 2 pieces of decorated chocolate with rose petals around on the beds for us in a very gorgeous lakeview room. We also dined in at PeakFine restaurant that night, the food quality was good, but overpriced for that small portion. Buffet breakfast served in the morning was various, we liked it very much. The KurSpa was so relaxing that we wish we could stay longer only that it's sold out on Friday night due to long weekend. But will def go back again. p.s. BIG thank you to Ryan (guest service agent) & Mike (valet), it would've taken us much longer to get up there if it was you guys's help.

I have been to Sparkling Hill on a number of occasions and each visit has been exceptional. From the rooms, the views, and the spas to the ambiance, the relaxation and the overall quality - Sparkling Hill hits every single one of those points. Where I would say they require improvement is the food. The times that I have dined at the Peak Fine restaurant whether it be breakfast or three course meal, I haven't been 'wow-ed'. The portions were smaller than I had imagined, the plating of the dishes lacked lustre and the flavourings were comparable to something you could get at the Pantry. I was not impressed. Apart from the food, however, the other areas of the hotel especially the saunas, made up for it. I always leave the resort feeling much more refreshed and relaxed. It's a must-see in the Okanagan.
