A little expensive but well worth the stay. With swimming pools, saunas hot ubs and much more it is both fun and relaxing. We didn't use any of the extras at the spa there was enough to do without. Everyone very welcoming and eager to please. There is a restaurant on site and provides an included breakfast. The view from the infinity pool is amazing and there are great views from the rooms which ever side you are on. The rooms are quite luxurious the bath big enough for two. A great place to stay. It would have been nice to have coffee in the rooms.

There are plenty of healthy activities to do at the resort (see website), but we joined the sauna rooms and pools, especially the whirlpool, the most. In fact, staying 1 night there just isn't enough time to take in all the facilities the resort has to offer. From the guest rooms, there is a separate elevator to take you to the facilities and spa...very convenient. There are trails surrounding and near the resort offering short to long hikes which is something to do if you get to the resort early and your room isn't ready yet. Rooms are large with sofa chairs and a soaker tub for you relax and enjoy the view from. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains effective. The on site restaurant serves a limited but quality and healthy menu. The view from the restaurant is excellent. Valet parking is a must as the self-park lot is a medium walk away from the main entrance.

This resort is fabulous! The room was huge with a spectacular view of okanagan lake. My husband and I enjoyed some sparkling wine in the soaker tub overlooking the water (the tub is big enough for 2 to share). We did not eat dinner at the resort as we have heard mixed reviews. The spa was the perfect place to relax with your choice of saunas, an infinity pool also looking over the okanagan lake. We drank tea and meditated in the quiet serenity room. I enjoyed yoga in our room in front of the giant window. We had a great massage in the spa. Things I loved...all the saunas, tea, water and breakfast was included in the price. The music playing throughout was peaceful and relaxing. The weather couldn't have been better and the view is spectacular. There was a ton of Mosquitos which was annoying when trying to hike around the resort. And the saunas are only open from 4-10 and 9-11 which limits your time as you check in at 4 and out at 11. Would have been nice to have been able to enjoy the saunas earlier in the morn after the gym. All in all it was the perfect getaway for two busy parents. I will be back!

We love many things about Sparkling Hills- the awesome view, the tasty food, the interesting and varied spa amenities - however, we end up feeling a little short-changed, given one cannot use said amenities for five (yes, FIVE; 11 am - 4 pm) hours during the day as they have chosen this time to sanitize the areas. This leaves one with the option of playing golf next door (which is no option at all if you do not happen to play), leaving the area all together in search of adventure or staying in one's room. Hmmm. Would be a 5-star rating for sure if the closed-down-time was reduced to one or at most two hours, or even better, switched to the middle-of-the-night.

My husband booked us here for our 5th wedding anniversary. I'll start off by saying the hotel is nice, but that WOW factor I was expecting from hearing about it from other people was not there. We had ONE bag and the porter was annoyed that we decided to carry it on our own. The spa is nice, but unless you like steam rooms you'll be bored in an hour. We did not have dinner in the restaurant due to the prices so we brought our own picnic dinner from home and enjoyed it in our room. One thing these rooms lack are screens so you can open the doors. We didn't dare after seeing how many mosquitoes there were on our window. If you book a room on -1 or -2 you'll have to go up to level 1 from the lobby, walk down a very long hall to another elevator and then go down to your floor. It felt like being in the bowels of a cruise ship. The one disappointment we had was the quality of the beds. If you like a harder bed, then this is not the place for you. The memory foam beds are so soft that it felt like you were sinking into an air mattress that didn't quite have enough air in it. I ended up pulling the cushions off the chairs and slept on the floor. The breakfast buffet was only OK. The view made up for it. I think we'll book another resort for our next night out. $300 was way too much for the quality of the hotel.
