After years of reviewing their website finally spent a night at this amazing property! In early March I shared a room with a friend as neither of our DH's had any interest. Handed the keys to the valet and had a smooth checkin and headed to the room. 100% agree with every other reviewers positive comments about the room. Changed and headed to Kurspa until about 7:30pm. Hint, put your slippers in the pockets of the robe when you are in the steam and sauna area. At least that way you will know which ones are yours! Also take the time to read the suggested procedure for using these facilities, use your towel in the saunas to sit/lay on. Move your robe to the hooks outside the different steams and saunas as you move around. If you want to experience the Cryo Chamber check the website. When we went it was closed on Wednesday's. Guests are here to experience relaxation and tranquility, There is signage indicating quiet is appreciated. Next time I will stay 2 nights and catch up on my reading. So luxurious to sit in a comfy chair, feet up, enjoy the scenery and read.

Every aspect of the visit has the stamp of excellence. Be careful to book your extra spa treatments well in advance in order to avoid any disappointment of not getting a booking. The steam rooms, saunas, Kniepp walking pool and pools are all wonderful, well kept and completely accessible as are the reading room and quiet room. Don't miss the complimentary breakfast buffet! There is a wide variety of quality food from porridge to cheese, from breads to salad and fresh cut vegetables, from eggs and sausages, to yogurts.

If you are into Swarovski, worth driving up the hill to look at this hotel. Even the signage and parking reflectors are crystals. Was impressed with the architecture and the hotel staff was pleasant towards us even though we only came to look at the hotel. A high end property, spa focus.

We checked in on Valentine's day and found this hotel chaotic. A hotel of this magnitude and class seemed to be chocking with the business they were getting. There was relatively long wait for check-in. What I found particularly interesting was that most couples had coolers and food bags with them. Later, at our first brush with the on-site food we realized the reason. No room in the formal restaurant. The food at their cafe had been prepared a while before. So a bit chewy and yet pricy! The cafe mocha was more like a hot chocolate, although I asked for it to be strong & half of the chocolate. Out of 3 attendants working only one person could read of the sweet menu she had in hand with some uncertainty. People watching was at it's best,,, as we saw people dressed in their bath robes dined next to people dressed up in suits & dresses for the Valentine. Also the next morning there were a range of characters joined in for breakfast in PJs, sweat pants or just robs. The hotel is kinda confusing in setup. Staff seemed unorganized and untrained. Sauna temperatures felt off by a few degrees and outdoor pool was a bit cool for winter. We liked the "BLING everywhere" and had a great time with the saunas & pools.Beside the bling infused in every fixture, we found the hotel cool in design & comfortable. Management should keep an eye on the bookings and have more staff at hand to keep things clean & tidy in the common areas at the least. This is a spa resort! Not sure if we're going to do it again. Perhaps we will read the reviews before we book again.

My wife and I recently spent a night at Sparkling Hill Resort. We had a beautiful room with a great mountain view. We took advantage of the Kurspa and enjoyed a couples and enjoyed a couples massage. The service was great, the food and wine was excellent and the staff were friendly, courteous and prompt. We were relaxed and our only regret is: We should have stayed longer!
