Reviews for Costa d'Este Beach Resort & Spa
Only two 4 star resorts on that section of Florida that accept pets, We wanted to give a try as we enjoy the Vero Beach area alot. From the moment we pulled up to the front door the staff was quick, efficient and friendly, Our room was in the south tower ocean side, view was great, room was tastefully decorated, bed was very comfortable, and balcony was a joy. Room had very unique curved wall that added a different feel to a room, Shower was great. We didn't get a chance to eat at the inside restaurant but did spend a lot of time out on the pool deck enjoying the food menu and drinks in a outdoor atmosphere. We came with our two miniature dachshunds and they had a blast meeting the staff and other pet friendly guest. Beach was great, not crowded and water was great. Local restaurants offered a lot of options all within walking distance. We will be coming back to stay again,
This was our third stay at Costa d'Este -- and things were even better than the first two and they were fantastic! We were given our favorite room -- ocean front top floor -- spectacular view and quiet. The room is wonderfully maintained and impeccably kept. The beach is beautiful and being there when the turtles lay their eggs is particularly magical! The pool is better than ever with the new tiles -- just remember to bring your flip flops because the deck tiles get hot in the heat of the day. The bar is great -- make sure you have a frozen mango daiquiri! Breakfast and lunch are outstanding -- Diana at The Wave is the greatest server! Each breakfast and lunch were fantastic! The staff is very friendly and is always trying to make sure your stay is perfect! Can't wait to return with our children and grandchildren! This is the perfect place to stay for everyone! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The Cabana king room was spacious, clean, and luxurious. Daily housekeeping kept it that way. We loved the ocean view walkout we had allowing easy access to both beach and pool. The concierge service at the beach and pool was excellent, providing towels and drinks. The beach is lovely for swimming. Nothing beats the pool at night when it's illuminated in blue. Too many things to talk about- we were here for 4 nights on our honeymoon and the only regret we have is not staying longer.
I had a very positive experience at this Resort. The hotel is beautiful, staff is excellent, service and food superb. Room was spacious, modern and clean. Hotel had great atmosphere. Restaurant and pool/beach food was good also. Prices are comparable to other hotels and restaurants in the immediate area. Chairs/towels are complimentary - cabana and umbrellas extra Free pet stay Valet or free self parking in hotel premises Location is near shops, museum and restaurants

I traveled to Vero Beach for business and had the pleasure of staying at Costa d'Este. Fortunately, I choose to take off an extra day to extend my visit. Well worth it. My colleague and I were greeted very kindly and though he had originally booked for another night, they were able to accommodate him that night. His room was ready. Mine was not. While waiting for my room to be ready I had lunch and read at the poolside bar. The bartender, I believe Matt, was very personable. For the inconvenience he made me a delicious Lemon Royale. If he is working, ask for it. It is so delicious and refreshing! The grounds are immaculate, the rooms are clean, the restaurant delectable, the beach mostly free of seaweed and scattered with shells. I look forward to bringing my fiancé with me next time. A special shoutout to Michelle at the Wave restaurant. This young woman is absolutely wonderful. During dinner she seemed full of joy and I do not know that I have ever had a server as courteous as her. Nearly all of the staff seemed genuinely happy to make guests' visits the best possible, but she was exceptional. Honorable mentions to Kaelin at the poolside bar/restaurant, Matt the bartender, and while he was not my server, David at Wave appeared to be awesome for the guests that he was working with. My second night of dinner my server was not nearly as pleasant and after having so many wonderful interactions with the staff, she really stuck out as an outlier. I hope that she was just having an off day and that isn't what she normally brings to guests. Examples: I asked for something and she just walked away (she brought it, but did not acknowledge that she heard me). I said "Thank you!" when she brought me something and she just walked away. Pro tip: In a very inconspicuous spot under the coffee pot, behind a wood panel, was a small refrigerator. I only noticed it because I came back when housekeeping was in my room and had it open. It is accessible by guests. I wish I would have known about it earlier! My only "complaints": In my room there was a note to make sure I kept the sliding glass door closed to keep bugs out. I really wish there had been a screen door for that so that I could still hear the ocean and thunder and get a nice breeze into my room. In the same vein, sheer-ish curtains would be a huge plus. I would like the privacy of gauzy curtains while still getting daylight. In my room the only option for privacy was the blackout shade. Worth noting: The beach chairs/umbrellas/cabanas are handled by a separate company and there is a separate cost associated with those. Chairs are free, umbrellas are $15, and the cabanas (pop-up tents) are $30. Pro tip: Rent a car. There is very little within walking distance. Oddity: My room did not have a do not disturb sign/hanger. I am sure I could have asked for one, but by the time I noticed, I was too tired to care. Overall, I found Costa d'Este to be a wonderful escape from the ordinary. I lucked out getting to stay at this little slice of paradise for business and can't wait to go back for pleasure!
