Vero beach is beautiful, and this boutique hotel is fabulous. The hotel and rooms are very clean, but housekeeping is a bit sporadic and limited. I would suggest that housekeeping at least stop by daily to replenish towels and toiletries and to remove garbage. I would not expect to check in before 4PM. That’s okay. There are many restaurants close by, so you can pass the time at one of them. One of the associates at the front desk was lovely. The other associate was not very friendly or welcoming. Maybe she was having a bad day, but it was a bit off-putting, especially when she was rude-ish to a few people waiting for their rooms, but then extremely friendly to the next group of people to walk in the hotel. We had been standing there waiting, and the group and the couple who walked in after us were immediately checked-in. The couple was checked-in to the same type of room as well (oceanfront). The friendly associate (blonde hair) definetly tried to make up for our disappointment, but it wasn’t a super warm welcome overall. The Welcome Drink was even offered as an afterthought. Loved the room. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was perfect. I highly recommend oceanfront. The pool area gets a little loud, so I don’t really recommend pool view if you think the noise will bother you. But, if you want to listen to the ocean waves, oceanfront is for you. The ocean is very close. The pool is awesome. It’s clean. It’s saltwater. Loved it. However, it opens at 7AM. But, if you’re thinking about a morning swim, just know that that’s when they start cleaning the area. It’s ready at about 8-8:30AM. I have a suggestion for the pool associates. Set up the chairs all at once. It would be nice to walk in and be able to walk over to a chair that already has a cover and a towel on it. Also, at times, it was difficult to find a towel. You have to hope someone is standing there (at the pool concierge desk) to give you one. At times, it seemed he was bothered to provide one. Just leave clean towels out. I can’t imagine people are stealing towels. The beach associates were wonderful. No notes. They were friendly and helpful. One of the best reasons to stay at this hotel is the proximity to the ocean. It’s about 20 feet from the pool. It’s a beautiful and quiet beach. *Chairs and umbrella are included in the resort fee. The Spa was wonderful. Book a massage with CJ. It was truly one of the best massages I have ever had. He was friendly and professional. The associate at the front desk was also friendly and sweet, creating a warm and welcoming environment. We had just one drink at the pool bar. It was good, but perhaps a bit overpriced. The bartender was not super friendly. Again, people have off-days, so I am not sure it’s the norm. Drinks and gelato poolside were great!!! Overall, most of the staff were friendly and welcoming, but some need to be more attentive and more cordial, and the friendliness and helpfulness needs to be more consistent. It really makes a difference. Parking is easy and plentiful. No need to valet, but it is an option. The resort fee is $42. We have stayed at 5-star resorts, and so, it seems a bit high. There is a lot included, but parking isn’t free, it’s part of that fee. It’s a dog-friendly hotel. We loved seeing the dogs, but keep that in mind if it’s important to you. Also, there is a slight hill (not even sure you can call it a hill) to walk down and up on the way to the beach. I think it would only be a tiny issue for older or injured people. Just letting you know. We walked up and down the beach, and I would definitely choose this hotel over the others. It’s nearly perfect. It seems to get crowed on weekends, so if you want a quiet-ish experience, stay during the week. Also, if you are new to the area (as we were), the location is great. It’s in walking distance to a ton of shops and restaurants. Cravings across the street has delicious breakfast sandwiches and coffee. The Lemon Tree is also across the street. There is a local Mexican restaurant next door…just to name a few. There is a little grocery store around the block (Ryder’s - I think is the name). You can walk to the “boardwalk” and the pier. I believe they are a little over a mile away. Most importantly, the area is safe and clean. I highly recommend Vero Beach, and this hotel is owned by Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan, which makes it even more special. We will definitely be back!!!

I’ve been a local for years and we frequent the restaurant often. It’s always a solid spot! We stopped in Friday for a quick bite and heard about the Burgers and Brews event, so we went to check it out on Saturday. So glad we did. We saw our favorite face, Joe, with his high energy talking to the line of people. The mini Cuban burger was so good, and we even got to meet the Chef which was a fun surprise. The brunette lady passing out burgers (wish I caught her name) was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Just another reason we love this place. Great job cooking team. Kim
