The hotel has an excellent location close to everything and a very nice presentation. My room was very spacious and as for breakfast it was excellent, great variety, good service and I particularly liked the Hot Chocolate. The one disappointment was the sauna it did not work and there are no staff in the area. Overall my experience was very good and I would like to return when the Sauna is working.

The hotel is beautiful and very conveniently located for walking and public transportation. Our room 602 was exceptional, thanks to Franziska, who checked us in. The beds are very comfortable and the room very spacious. We had a terrace which was a special treat! Franziska‘s assistance while we were there was outstanding! She was extremely helpful in assisting with a lost cell phone, helping us get to the correct train station & several other requests. She is a professional in customer relations. There was also another woman in reception on evenings who went above and beyond assisting us with reservations to dinner and sightseeing. I will definitely be back to this wonderful hotel!

Our stay at the grand hotel was wonderful. The staff at the desk were friendly and very helpful. Our room was very comfortable and was always well taken care of. We would recommend a grand hotel to anyone. The breakfast area was just terrific and wonderful food. You must try the hot chocolate.

Another wonderful stay at this magnificent 5* haven of luxury, the latest of many 7 night stays. Booking was handled so well, by Luis, who allocated us the most amazing suite, which was perfect. Thanks to Luis and the entire reception team for their warm attentive dedication to our enjoyment. It was a pleasure to meet Yousef, new Front desk Manager who has fine qualities and is, clearly, experienced and dedicated. As always, the breakfast was wonderful and the team is now Managed by Raymond, who is warm, professional and has an eye for detail. New to post, he is already making his mark. We enjoyed great service from Markus and team for f&b in the charming and beautiful lobby bar. Markus is another great professional, with fabulous interpersonal skills. The hotel is beautiful and we visit so often for lengthy stays, not only because it’s the best on offer, in our opinion, but it’s the team that makes the place so perfect. Fantastic dining experiences to suit all budgets and the attitude of the team, whilst very respectful, exudes warmth and a genuine dedication to the enjoyment of each guest: it really is a home from home. For Concierge advice, tickets and general service, Walid is the consummate professional, who is such genuinely great person, for whom nothing is too much trouble. I love the diversity at the Grand Wien, both in term of the teams and guests, so many interesting and engaging people. Whether you’re a high ranking dignitary or you’re travelling for leisure, the service is exceptional! We will soon be making yet another visit, from England, so much to still see and do in Vienna and we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. The General Manager is committed to excellent provision for each guest and this is evident throughout the hotel! We can’t wait to book again!

The attached mall, featuring a Billa Corso, was a convenient bonus, providing fresh produce and snacks for our adventures. Plus, the hotel's proximity to major sites made exploration effortless. Our guest room was exquisitely appointed and cozy, with a bathroom boasting an amazing soaking tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Highly recommend for a luxurious and memorable stay.
