Beautiful palace , very comfortable bed however dinner was disappointing . The waitress dropped part of my salad on the table and said “oh” and walked away. Salad all over my cutlery, I called a waiter to replace the cutlery thinking they will also replace the salad since half Was on the table , but nope! He scooped up whatever salad was on the table with his hands and walked away. Definitely not palace quality service !!! Dinner was ok but nothing really worth it. Tried to go into the bar for drinks and was told it’s by reservation which we were never advised at checkin. They did sell us a breakfast package at check in but never mentioned the bar reservation. Breakfast from the menu was good but we were never told the buffet also was included or sparking wine was included. On my way out of the restaurant I saw the buffet options but it was too late . Would I return again… not for that amount of money.

We had the most exceptional 5 nights’ stay at the Hotel Imperial, Vienna. Everyone at the hotel could not have done more to ensure that our Golden Wedding anniversary was celebrated and made very special for us. Every member of staff went out of their way to provide courteous, friendly and professional service and we were treated with such warmth and respect at all times. All at the hotel could not have made our stay in Vienna more pleasurable and we certainly have many happy memories. Our extreme gratitude to everyone at the hotel. The hotel is extremely central and only a few minutes walk from the Wiener Staatsoper.

This was and is a palace - which is why the late Queen Elizabeth II stayed here when visiting Vienna. If you want a palace rather than just a hotel this is the place for you. In addition the service is exemplary and the cafe is very impressive and seems to have its fair share of local patronage.

We cannot say enough good things about Hotel Imperial. The staff was top notch, friendly and very helpful. Dinner recommendations were spot on. Quite possibly the best staff we have experienced in our European travels. The hotel was clean, quiet and luxurious. Breakfast was excellent and don't leave without a bag full of the Imperial Torts! Our new favorite European hotel!!! We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Vienna.

There are many fine hotels in Vienna, but I cannot imagine a more elegant, comfortable, and accommodating one. Attentive, friendly staff, top to bottom, perfect, convenient location, Hotel Imperial is my home away from home when visiting Vienna.
