Hotel was great. Definitely 5 stars, but not uptight. Good spa, breakfast and restaurant. Room was amazing. Cleaning was excellent. Service was top notch. Location was nice. Just outside the old city center, but right in the heart of the museum area.

The Sans Souci was lovely. Our suite had TWO terraces! Breakfast was delicious, the staff kind and helpful, and we LOVED the hotel’s beautiful art collection! Right next door to Museum Quarter and some enjoyable restaurants. And we really appreciated the good a/c during a heat wave.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sans Souci. The location is very convenient to places we wanted to visit and is in a lovely area surrounded by beautiful buildings and sites. We could easily walk to the nearby museums, the Hofburg palace, and the Vienna Opera House. As an added bonus, there is a grocery store with an ATM next door. The hotel itself is elegant and the rooms are well-appointed. We really enjoyed the meals at the in-house restaurant. The food is delicious and we appreciated the daily breakfasts. My daughter and I even enjoyed an evening swim at their chandelier-lit pool. The best thing about this hotel, though, is its staff. Everyone was exceptionally warm, helpful, friendly, and professional. We especially appreciated Sharif, at the front desk, who handled with grace and generosity a situation that we had with a restaurant that did not honor a dinner reservation made for us a month earlier by the concierge. I think that this hotel is special because of how the staff cares for its guests, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna.

One block away from the Volkstheater subway station proving easy access to many sights around Vienna. Including Schonbrunn palace (20 mins by subway). Also an easy walk to the major sights in Vienna. And lots of dining options within a short walk of the hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful. From the front desk to the dining room staff, at breakfast and at dinner, making for a very pleasant stay. Months before arriving they helped with sight seeing information and making a number of dinner reservations. Lisa, the front desk manager, even helped in getting Schonbrunn Palace tickets when I had trouble with the Palace website ticket purchase. We enjoyed an afternoon beverage in the Bibliothèque lounge after a morning of sightseeing. Had dinner one night in Veranda which was very good. A number of different entrees choices. And each morning, the breakfast buffet was exceptional. Good menu options in additional to the buffet. Try the pancakes. Outstanding. Speaking of outstanding, the morning dining room staff was just that. 5 stars to all the staff!
