My wife and I had a wonderful five nights at the Sans Souci for our honeymoon. As it was our once in a life time trip we had decided to treat ourselves and we were certainly not disappointed. The room was very generously apportioned, so much so that there was another room to be found within the bathroom. The mystery of the location of the TV was solved when we discovered that the mirror doubled up as a screen. The staff were excellent, and our various requests were never too much trouble. The little chocolate Easter bunny in the room (it was Good Friday) was another nice little touch. The spa facilities were very enjoyable. There are two saunas, a steam room, a gym, treatment room, and a pool. Ate in the restaurant on one night. Very good quality but the price tag does reflect that. However, as a way to celebrate the last night of our trip it couldn't be beat.

The Sans Souci deserves all the praise it receives. This hotel is a quality property. From the decor to the food to the staff everything looks great and works really well. It is located at the edge of the Museum quarter, a stones throw from the underground and the Big Red Bus stop, has a small supermarket next door which has an international ATM machine inside. What else do you need? I was impressed with the food quality of room service and the shower was first class. Rooms were quiet and very well presented. All the staff were really helpful and made you feel at home. Well done to everyone and I will be back!!!

The overall property is very nice and is centrally located to many of the attractions in Vienna as well as solid choices for restaurants. The staff we came in contact with were pleasant and accommodating. The only thing keeping this rating from being a 5 was the noise level in our room. We were in room 115 and thought out the day/night, the exit door to the stairway would shut VERY LOUDLY whenever someone would use the stairway. Also, the room had a nice view of the street but the tram would pass often and would rumble throughout the night when passing by. If you go, avoid the side of the hotel closest to the street with the tram and stay far away from the stairway. Overall rating B+

We stayed at the Sans Souci for only one night in their 'luxury extended' room. We arrived early having taken the train from Prague and were keen to check in, unfortunately the room wasn't going to be available until 1500. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave us a good introduction the the hotel and it's facilities. The room was large and well decorated. It was however let down by a number of impracticalities, for example not being able to view the TV from the bed. The spa was great, clean and extremely well equipped. The pool was fantastic and worth using. By booking direct they offered us a voucher for champagne tasting or discount from the dinner menu. This was a nice touch. The champagne tasting was fun and the staff were very knowledgable. The continental breakfast was superb and the selection of tea is extensive. Overall I would recommend this Hotel, certainly a perfect location and very attentive staff. I'm not sure it was the best value for money but then again Vienna is an expensive city. A good four stars!

What a great stay, we were a family of four staying in 2 interconnecting rooms. Room was really well appointed, spacious bathroom, very comfortable bed, all mod cons you would expect. Wonderful breakfast, great restaurant, lovely pool. How refreshingly good it is to stay in a hotel where the service really delights you. We loved this hotel, it is exceptionally well run, the service is seamless. Our kids were delighted to receive Easter eggs for Easter Sunday. Lovely touch.
