Hotel Sans Souci Vienna

What a wonderful hotel! We had the most amazing experience staying at Sans Soucci hotel last weekend. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. We also used the spa facilities which were brilliant. Would highly recommend this hotel as it was in the museum quarter and within walking distance of the main Christmas market.

This hotel absolutely deserves its place among the top three hotels in Vienna. The service is outstanding and every member of staff genuinely goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. What stood out most was that every stylish dressed staff member approaches you with genuine friendliness. That level of hospitality creates a very warm and welcoming atmosphere which is exceptional and greatly appreciated. The rooms are spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The pillow menu is extensive, and my allergies were taken into consideration, which was very reassuring. Everything was carefully prepared prior to my arrival. The spa is also immaculately clean and fully equipped. Bathrobes and slippers are ready in every locker in the changing rooms, and you are always warmly welcomed by the gentleman at the spa’s front desk. You also regularly see staff refilling towels and keeping everything neat and tidy. The library was our little gem, a wonderful place to enjoy a cocktail or lunch in a relaxing setting after a long day in the city. One of the highlights was a cocktail served with theatrical dry ice smoke, which made the experience even more special. The food is of superb quality, with the exception of the steak sandwich, which unfortunately was excessively greasy and soaked in butter, making it inedible. Breakfast in the brasserie Veranda is a real highlight. There is a wide selection of freshly pressed juices, and you are served a smoothie upon arrival. Champagne is poured separately to help prevent waste, and food is presented in small portions, which shows their awareness of sustainability. The cold options include creative salads and potato pancakes, and the three hot dishes were always fresh and perfectly cooked. There is also a generous variety of rolls, pastries, muesli, granola, and dairy products including cheeses. In addition, there is an à la carte menu offering savoury Asian, pancakes and luxurious egg dishes, such as my favorite breakfast, Eggs Benedict, which was served to perfection on four consecutive mornings. The waiters were nearly all extremely polite young gentlemen, which is rare these days and very much appreciated. As experienced travelers who rarely write reviews, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious yet comfortable stay. Prices were high during the Christmas period, but vary throughout the year.

First time to Vienna, Christmas Markets and this hotel. The hotel and staff are the best I’ve experienced in a long time, they couldn’t do enough for you and were so friendly nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Had a fantastic stay. The only things and this is my personal opinion, it was late November and the hotel didn’t feel Christmas at all, plus booked this stay over a year ago and although the room was gorgeous our outlook was of a rooftop full of overgrown grass and weeds and with it been a court yard on the first floor not brilliant. Loved the fact that you could get a coffee delivered to your room as part of the service it also had a kettle in the room for us Brits who love our tea. The whole hotel smelt really nice, just lacked the Christmas touch which was made up for by the numerous Christmas markets we visited.

Our stay at the Sans Souci Hotel in Austria was nothing short of wonderful. The staff truly make this place special. Manuel behind the bar is exceptional – talented, welcoming, and always ready with a great recommendation. Emran was equally impressive during our stay, and although he’s moving on to new things, his professionalism and kindness were unforgettable. Lisa on reception deserves a special mention for her permanent joyful exuberance; every interaction with her sets a positive tone for the day. Merlin greeted us each morning with a warm welcome and a genuinely positive attitude that made us feel right at home. Chirria and Jennifer were both consistently pleasant, attentive, and happy to help with anything we needed. Overall, the team at Sans Souci go above and beyond, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and friendly. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Sans Souci. From arrival to departure we were treated to outstanding hospitality and service. On check in we were provided with hot flannels and a hot lemon drink, both very welcome after a long journey. We were then shown to our room and every amenity was thoroughly explained. The room itself was superb. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very well equipped. The TV allowed for casting and you were able to order every type of coffee free of charge to the room up until 10 pm. Breakfast was fantastic and again the service was a highlight. The spa is first class and the indoor pool an added bonus. Vienna itself is beautiful and if you are thinking of visiting then I would very much recommend the hotel.
