All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They booked restaurants and event tickets for us. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was leisurely and great quality. The bar area is lush.

It all started with a very warm greeting and welcome, add to that the extraordinary room, staff, spa, location and so much more, and this is probably one of the best packages when visiting Vienna. Truly an amazing experience of which I highly recommend.

This room was pretty high tech. There was a large screen tv within the mirror. Wifi was good. Washroom was pretty high tech too. Apart from the technology, the room was spacious with a very high ceiling. King size bed with nice linens. The washroom was large with two sinks and it was very clean, as was the room. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was fantastic--one of the best freebie breakfasts. Location is also very convenient. Would definitely go back.

My husband and I spent 5 wonderful nights here in early June and we absolutely loved this hotel!! The decor is beautiful and you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into the design. Everything is kept spotless and immaculate at all times (although you never see any cleaners -- they must use invisible cleaners at this hotel -- lol!!). The rooms are very spacious for European standards (we had a Luxury Extended room -- which included a sweet little balcony overlooking the back courtyard). The breakfast buffet was fantastic and included a wide variety of hot and cold items -- plus other fun items such as the "smoothie of the day". As other reviews have mentioned -- you also have the option of ordering a variety of egg dishes to accompany your breakfast. We also ate in Le Bar (my husband loved their hamburger on the pretzel bun) and did the champagne tasting which was fun. Julio always made us feel very welcome at Le Bar and my hubby enjoyed his "Fireball" cocktails (we need the recipe!!). All of the staff were very warm, helpful and courteous. Our thanks also to Max and Sarah at the front desk for the wake-up calls and for arranging tea and coffee for us first thing each morning (such a lovely little touch). The location of the hotel is ideal -- a 2 minute walk in one direction to the Museum quarter and a two minute walk in the opposite direction to the Spittelberg quarter where you will find some great shopping and funky little restaurants, bars and cafes. To summarize -- if you are looking for a beautiful, boutique hotel that's close to major sites and where you will be spoiled rotten by the most lovely staff -- Hotel San Souci is just the place for you!!

Stayed here for a long weekend with friends. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by professional and attentive staff. Our rooms were situated on the first floor overlooking the road but despite this it didn't disturb our sleep. The bar hosts over 60 varieties of champagne plus numerous single malt whiskeys and a great range of cocktails, we were spoilt for choice! The hotel is decorated very well, elegant yet modern with a classical twist - we loved it. The breakfast selection was extensive, plenty on offer to suit everyone's palette and gluten free bread available too. We dined in the hotel for our first evening, the food was very good - I can highly recommend the snitzel and a good wine list to select from. The bedrooms are very comfortable, lovely crisp white Egyptian cotton bed linen and a pillow menu to select from. Molten Brown toiletries available in the bathroom and a good selection of drinks & snacks in the mini bar. Unfortunately we ran out of time so didn't visit the spa or the pool but it all looked very inviting. We will visit Vienna again without question and when we do, we wouldn't hesitate staying at this hotel again. Highly recommended, fantastic service (and this includes all staff throughout the hotel) delicious food, well equipped comfortable bedrooms and perfect location, great for exploring this beautiful city.
