Hotel Sans Souci Vienna

Our stay at the Sans Souci Hotel in Austria was nothing short of wonderful. The staff truly make this place special. Manuel behind the bar is exceptional – talented, welcoming, and always ready with a great recommendation. Emran was equally impressive during our stay, and although he’s moving on to new things, his professionalism and kindness were unforgettable. Lisa on reception deserves a special mention for her permanent joyful exuberance; every interaction with her sets a positive tone for the day. Merlin greeted us each morning with a warm welcome and a genuinely positive attitude that made us feel right at home. Chirria and Jennifer were both consistently pleasant, attentive, and happy to help with anything we needed. Overall, the team at Sans Souci go above and beyond, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and friendly. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a fabulous stay at the Sans Souci. From arrival to departure we were treated to outstanding hospitality and service. On check in we were provided with hot flannels and a hot lemon drink, both very welcome after a long journey. We were then shown to our room and every amenity was thoroughly explained. The room itself was superb. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very well equipped. The TV allowed for casting and you were able to order every type of coffee free of charge to the room up until 10 pm. Breakfast was fantastic and again the service was a highlight. The spa is first class and the indoor pool an added bonus. Vienna itself is beautiful and if you are thinking of visiting then I would very much recommend the hotel.

We opted to stay at the Hotel Sans Souci for 4 nights at the end of November and can honestly say it was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. It’s perfectly placed for hoping on the ubahn (underground) and is in realistic walking distance of most of Vienna’s highlights - probably takes approx. 15/20 mins to walk to the centre at a reasonable pace but if museums are your thing, then they’re right on the doorstep. The staff are genuinely friendly - always went out of their way to recommend easier ways to travel around the city and also made fantastic restaurant recommendations. Our junior suite was excellent - big comfy bed, seating area with additional desk, a bathroom with large bath plus a walk-in shower, separate room for the toilet and a large walk-in wardrobe with all the expected amenities - safe, fluffy robes (and I mean FLUFFY!!), complimentary slippers, iron and ironing board, shoe horn and clothes brush. They even had a Dyson hairdryer in the bathroom which was a plus ;-) Food at the hotel was also excellent - breakfast was a vast array of continental delights plus an excellent ‘cooked to order’ menu which all ran until 11am each week day (til 2pm at weekends!) and the evening menu was equally wonderful, especially the Wiener Schnitzel and potato salad - SO filling!! A nice touch is their ‘coffee service’ and here you can order any coffee and have it delivered to your room using the ‘room service’ function - all complimentary too. We didn’t get chance to use the spa facilities but hope to return very soon! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Sans Souci is an excellent hotel, with fabulous staff and great facilities. We stayed for 4 nights on a city break and also found the location ideal for the city centre, the museums and the metro / tram system. The pool and spa are wonderful and free to hotel guests. There was nothing to fault.

Just returned from a wonderful stay in Vienna at this superb hotel. It was a big birthday trip for me and him and it was fabulous. Every member of staff was truly excellent. The reception staff went out of their way to suggest restaurants and booked it for us. The bed was so comfortable and room and shower brilliant. Breakfast was everything you could wish for. We arrived late but they still managed to get us into their restaurant and I recommend the steak sandwich! Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
