Not much to add since my first visit in 2016. The staff is still friendly and care for you in a genuine way. The rooms have been well kept, not many signs of wear and tear. As with my last stay the media hub still is not working as it should, but since I hade a room (219) that does not have the tv integrated in the mirror I could connect my phone directly to the tv to enjoy my own music. There should also be an option to use the tv speakers when watching tv, in my opinion. Breakfast was just as nice as last time and I even think i recognised some of the staff at La Veranda, which is nice - not only as a guest but it also shows (but not to 100%) that it is a place people enjoy working at. Cappuccinos are still much too creamy and the macchiatos come with too much milk, which is not really a big deal unless you're fuzzy about your coffee. I guess I am... The room was a bit more noisy compared to the one I had last time (223 I think it was) due to the fact that the tram tracks has a switch in the street right below the room. This causes some vibrations and sound in the room. Since I live near a tram stop with a switch at home it was not a problem to me but it might be to others. I like it and I'm likely to return should I visit Vienna again.

Stayed here for 2 days with my fiance in march and it was just marvelous. That's a hotel where you will experience what SERVICE means. From the warm welcome at the door till the sad goodbye there was nothing which could be more impeccable. Definitely will come back soon. Congratulations to the staff

Just left having stayed 4 nights as a family of 3 in a junior suite. The place was amazing from the minute that we walked in. Staff are extremely attentive and helpful; they booked restaurants, concert tickets, ballet tickets, taxis, airport transfers, etc.....nothing was too much trouble. Room was great; very comfy bed and a choice of pillows. Separate toilet and bathroom in room 309; not sure if this is the same in all rooms, but very handy with 3 people in one room. Spa facilities were excellent. Has a really good underground swimming pool too, which we were able to take our 10 year old daughter to between 10am and 4pm. My wife used the spa and had a massage, which she said was great. Very well situated for exploring the city. Located near the Museum Quarter of the city and there is an underground station within 50 yards, should you need it. Great breakfast and they had thought of everything that you could possibly want. Ate dinner there one night, as we were heading off early to the ballet; food was excellent. Can't speak highly enough if this 5 star hotel and at the time of writing this review I am not surprised that they are the #1 rated hotel on TripAdvisor in Vienna.

We have just spent 3 nights at Hotel Sans Souci and have come away disappointed. The good - great breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms and great location. The bad - media hub issues and staff response. Firstly, our tv constantly reset itself every 15 minutes on the BBC channel and the connection from our computer to the tv was faulty. The hotel staff blamed their provider for the BBC issue and promised that it would be fixed that day. After a quick investigation by the technician our computer/cables were blamed for the faulty tv connection. We found this hard to believe as we had not experienced this issue previously. At this stage we felt that it was in the too hard basket for them and that they didn’t want to admit there was an issue. We were made to feel that we were being unreasonable. A trip to the apple store confirmed that the cabling and computer were fine. On return to the hotel that evening we were assured that all was fix, so you can imagine our disappointment when the BBC channel reset the tv after 15 minutes. We were then given a new room but the staff member (Adam) who helped us move seemed totally uninterested in our plight, cut us off when we were trying to explain what we had experienced and made us feel that we were imagining the problem. Checking out the following morning we did not receive a sincere apology and at no stage did they take responsibility. I notice that someone else had a similar experience last week. A great hotel if nothing goes wrong, otherwise beware.
