Hotel Sans Souci Vienna

This is a truly magnificent hotel! I would rank it alongside the very best hotels my wife and I have stayed in around the world. The location is perfect for the old city centre of Vienna as well as having immediate doorstep access to the tram and U Bahn. Rooms are stylish, understated with superb bathroom & huge walk in shower. Staff on reception were super helpful and informative as well as being very welcoming. Breakfast every day was amazing with super daily specials alongside the full buffet options. Champagne every morning complimentary! Gym well equipped with excellent range of equipment for all. Possibly the best serious hotel lap pool of any city centre hotel which my wife absolutely loved! My wife and I both enjoyed an excellent treatment courtesy of the wonderful Hungarian masseuse. Thank you. Final night a la carte dinner in the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary which was excellent in all aspects. The final touch was the superb complimentary Lanson champagne which did top off the stay. I would give 6 stars if I could. We will be back...

Spent four nights at the Sans Souci in room 203. Large room, well laid out with good washroom. From arrival until departure, service was excellent. Buffet breakfast well thought out, with additional choices made to order. Restaurant staff attentive. Located adjacent to the Museum District, excellent location for visiting museums. Subway lines U2 & U3 close at hand to get to other venues. For me, only place to stay in Vienna. A real oasis from the heat of this August.

Outstandingly good and very classy (though pricey) hotel just across from the Museumsquartier, and just 2 stops on the u-bahn (stop just 50 m. away) from Stephansplatz. Rooms are a good size and extremely well furbished to a high standard. Shower is spacious and first class (no bath though) and bathroom generally very well provided. Air-con and WiFi are both excellent. Breakfast is sumptuous, comprehensive and beautifully presented and served. Staff were always very helpful and courteous. There is an excellent pool and gym,with plentiful towels, slippers, robes etc.; the pool is very much for swimming only (about 20x4 metres) with no poolside area at all, though there are very comfortable loungers etc by the saunas. There’s a very handy Spar next door to the hotel.

Superb services and accommodations. Exquisite art exhibit on-site! Conveniently located right next to the museum quarter. Nothing beats a privately-owned boutique hotel. You can clearly tell the owners are on top every detail.

Our favorite hotel experience during our trip to Austria! Beautiful decor, welcoming staff, clean and comfortable rooms with air conditioning and delicious food at the restaurant. Also a great neighborhood to be in. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for a wonderful experience in Vienna!
