Wi-fi not working, room access cards not working, the room is definitely not a five stars' room, the shower is 60x70 cm (!!!), the bed and the pillows are hard rock, the staff is unable to solve these different issues... even the printer was not working when we paid... Events organised at the hotel involve music noise and leave resident customers with no parking... We asked for a precise table to be booked for breakfast every day... not done since we arrived... impossible task... The beautiful views cannot compensate the stress of all the above...

We spent 4 nights on the Amalfi Coast at the Hotel Raito. The Hotel was beautiful and well kept. Views were stunning from everywhere. Breakfast were truly great. We got good rest and at the same time saw much of the Amalfi Coast by walking, taxi, Hotel shuttle and finally ferry to other well known cities on the Amalfi Coast. Hotel Riato is a bit outside the city of Vietri sul Mare but the Hotel does offer shuttle service with keeps down the cost of cabs, etc etc. We loved our stay. The room was comfortable. We do recommend.

The Hotel Raito really was 4 1/2 stars. The resort is clean, updated and has a wonderful breakfast. The view from our balcony was fantastic and the small town of Vietri Sul Mare was fun to walk around. We also visited other cities on the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. The hotel does have a shuttle down to the town but it is not scheduled very frequently which we felt was a downside of staying here, as was, that there is not a small shop on the property where you could buy snacks and sodas, just the mini bar. Staff was very nice and accommodating and would recommend it.

Fantastic setting up a hillside. Room was adequate and clean and the bed was really comfortable. Staff were attentive and friendly and all of the hotel areas were great including the spa. The coffee was awful which is surprising. We had one meal on our last night which was not properly cooked and was cold which was disappointing after all the fine efforts up till then. Would recommend overall with the caveats above.

Found this hotel on line - we had a deluxe sea-view double room with an extra bed and had plenty of space. The wood-decked balcony was a lovely oasis of calm to enjoy a Limoncello in the evening but did not get sun during the day - not a probelm for us, and there are plenty of places to lie in the sun around the pool and terraces.. Room was beautifully decorated, fresh linens whenever we wanted them, excellent breakfast included (fantastic buffet choices, and sweet cakes and bread baked on the premises daily - evidenced by the wonderful aromas wafting from the kitchens when we returned from our evenings out). There is a very useful free shuttle service into Vietri throughout the day and evening. The hotel itself is situated on a steep hillside over several levels - beautifully landscaped but could be difficult for anyone who has mobility problems as there are stairs/ steepish slopes to contend with (there are, however, lifts which serve the rooms and may afford some access to other areas but can't be sure about this). Reception staff speak good English and are extremely helpful.
