Give me a break... We stayed in a standard room, the dimension, furniture, decor and bedding of which was a 3* at the very best. Pre-paid rate, both pools under "maintenance". Nobody alerted us in advance. We were offered to use pools in other hotels with transfer by bus. We didn't pay for this. We asked for a partial refund. Denied. For two days the manager was "out of the premises". We were also charged 3 euros for a bottle of water taken from the minibar. Really?? Ridiculous... Try and be nice at the very least! On a positive note: magnificent view on the terrace (not from a standard room facing a wall), decent breakfast. We didn't try other meals. Suggestion: maybe start from learning basic management rules, how to be nice to customers, how to make up for your mistakes and manage people's expectations, and above all don't lie about what you are selling. It doesn't work in the XXI century!!!

I do not normally write reviews, but felt this one very necessary, ignore it at your cost, as I wish I had taken more notice of the other negative reviews on here before choosing this hotel, as they are all true!!!! We rang ahead to upgrade our room to a sea view, we wanted the blue walled room that appears on the hotel website, this was an extra Ā£150 per night! We stayed on a B&B basis and it cost us Ā£500 per night!!!!! Yes, we had a sea view with a terrace but the room was small, overlooked and although clean, the bathroom was very tired and the shower is over the bath. There are nightly wedding receptions meaning that you cannot actually hold a conversation with the person sitting next to you at your dining table as the function room is merely screened off from the main dining room, and the music started every night at about 7.00pm and went on until midnight! Not what you want when you are expecting to sit down to a nice meal. Now that is another problem - the food is definitely not five star, three at best and is served to you by waiters who give the impression that they would rather be anywhere else! We were assured by the restaurant on the Sunday morning of our 40th Wedding Anniversary that the function scheduled for that evening was a Communion and would be finished by 8pm - this was not the case, the noise was deafening so we had room service, not what we had planned, but we had to make the best of it. The main pool and the spa pool were not working during our stay, due to technical problems. On speaking to other guests, it transpired that neither pool had been open for some weeks but we were not told this when we rang before our trip, as we most certainly would have chosen a different hotel had we known. We had booked a couples massage, which was meant to be enjoyed outside - I'm not sure where as this option wasn't open to us due to the weather being a bit colder than expected. We were told that we would be in the Relaxation Room. About fifteen minutes beforehand, we had a phone call to say that they had taken a booking for that room, which meant that we were downgraded to the 'cabins'. On getting to the spa, we realised that these 'cabins' were tiny, narrow rooms, just about wide enough for the couch and not at what we was expecting, so instead of a charge of ā‚¬150, we paid ā‚¬100 for 30 minutes. The massage was laughable, no technique, not relaxing at all, we were hurried out! The overwhelming feeling that we got was that the hotel was just focussed on charging as much for everything as they possibly could as nothing was free, except the poor wifi - which is useless and is only free for two nights. Would I recommend - never!!!!!

The view is beutiful, the breakfast is good, but is not a 5 stars!! The shower door was broken, the diden't fix it wen I asked them, they lie about the pool, was broken all the time, every day saying will fix "next day", never finding manager to speak with, I don't recommend the hotel regarding the money I paid!!

We checked in and seemingly things would be OK. The rooms are TINY and I do mean tiny, too small for 2 people. Internet is slower than ever. The shower is so small you cannot turn around in it. Did I mention ROACHES, YES ROACHES IN THE BATHROOM at night! They talk about their spa, not really any kind of spa. It was disappointing to say the least. The ladies are lacking in massage and aesthetics skills, they were kind but it was not even close to what you expect for 100+ Euros per treatment. The pool was closed yet we were not informed about this when we checked in or before we arrived. Imagine being on the Amalfi coast and the pool being closed! When you call down for more towels, you will wait forever! This was to be a trip of a lifetime. Needless to say, we checked out early and went elsewhere. Very sad, stressful and a part of my birthday trip was ruined as a result of this hotel not measuring up to their online presentations in any way. We have traveled all over the world, I will tell you honestly, avoid this hotel no matter what.

Terrible service. The pool was closed for the month of august into september. They did not feel the need to inform guests in advance accordingly. The food - when available - was terrible. They said they do not serve any food between breakfast and lunch and I culd go down to town if I like. There were day and night weddings 24/7 with noise coming into the rooms. The double superior room was more like a sauna sized room. The only good thing avout this hotel is the view from the terrace. That's it.
