An Lam Retreats

My fiancé and I stayed at An Lam last week and had the most relaxing time. We were attending a wedding, which can often feel chaotic, but the staff at An Lam made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The resort and its amenities were wonderful. A special thank-you to our butler, Ms. Tran, who went above and beyond to take care of us. She was incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Overall good but… The food and drinks are way way too much and don’t need to be. They are western London prices and we paid four times the price here compared to anywhere else in Vietnam.  Its getting a little tired and doesn’t feel like much has been done since it was built. Nowhere to really relax in the sun.  Like do with a pool in the sun.... Biggest complaint is evening  noise. It advertises itself as peaceful resort and yet as we dined by the river we had thumping music from the wedding next door. It did stop shortly after 9 though...

We stayed for 3 nights after a long flight from London to rest and acclimatise before heading into the city for new year. AnLam is truly beautiful. We stayed in room A29 which was absolutely beautiful and luxurious with wonderful views of the entire resort. It felt very private and truly special. The entire resort is covered by wonderful vegetation creating a natural canopy so there is no direct sunlight, perfect for arriving from winter in England. We absolutely loved the food and would also spend our days reading in the different spots available around the site. We also had a massage on our first day which was the best treatment we’ve ever had. Every detail was catered for. One small note to be aware of is there are weddings, often multiple, every day. This doesn’t really interfere as the staff do really well to manage these separately but you can often hear music at night. This didn’t bother us as we arrived knowing we were staying on the edge of the city. The best thing about An Lam without a doubt are the people that work there. Incredibly kind, warm and generous. We’ve found this to be true of all of Vietnam but we do want to give special mention to the team here who made our stay so very special. Thank you so much!

Hotel atmosphere was perfect. Rooms were very comfortable. Boat transfer to city center was so cool. Spa and massage was the best we've tried in Vietnam. Breakwas was almost weak. It can be improved as 5 star hotel standarts.
