A real highlight of our trip to Vietnam, beautiful rooms set in jungle like resort. Spa was fantastic, really nice atmosphere and touches. Staff were excellent, not too much but really on the ball. Speed boat into town was a great way to get around, and coming back to the calm of A Lam after a hectic day in Ho Chi Minh was ideal. Will recommend to friends.

The resort is beyond beautiful with staff that attend to your needs in a way I’ve rarely experienced before. The food is delicious, the spa is excellent—you will feel pampered in every way possible. Highly recommended!!

Though it is located just an easy 30 minute boat ride away from the hustle and bustle of vibrant Ho Chi Minh City, stepping into the An Lam Retreats Riverside Saigon felt like entering a serene, secluded oasis. This boutique hotel seamlessly blends modern comforts with traditional Vietnamese design, creating an atmosphere of elegant simplicity. The property is situated directly on the banks of the Saigon River, offering a peaceful respite from the energy of the city. The owners have spared no expense in the decor and every nook and corner of the property (as well as the rooms) are decked up with tastefully designed furnishings, art, and crafts! The whole place seems like a super luxurious jungle resort that you might have to splurge 4 digit price tags in places like Africa or Bali. But here they make it affordable without losing the uber luxurious charm. LOCATION: Easy 30-minute ride away or a sweet 30-minute Speed boat ride way(The resort offers this lovely boat ride as a COMPLIMENTARY SERVICE) DINE + DRINK: The onsite bar and restaurant are as wonderfully designed and furnished as the rest of the facilities. And its spectacular location next to the river adds a Romantic charm to it. You will never feel like leaving the place. While the Vietnamese cuisine served was tasty and authentic, it as SUPER EXPENSIVE and the portion sizes were abnormally little. The only lowlight of our stay! ROOM: We stayed in V29, which was a Riverside Villa with Pool, so this review is based on that; SIZE: The suite came with a living area and a huge bedroom area each with their own big TVs. The Bedroom featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that flooded the space with natural light and offered stunning views of the river. T.; VIEW: Mindblowing views of the river and the cruising barges and boats from the magnificent huge balcony; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: The bed was incredibly comfortable, and played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: the bathroom was luxurious, with a large soaking tub and high-end amenities. It also has a lovely Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Spa-quality Toiletries FACILITIES: A fully decked Gym with an excellent of weights and Cardio machines. Something almost unthinkable in a resort like this. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's beautifully designed pool. Surrounded by lush greenery and overlooking the river, it provided the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to TUYEN who hosted us throughout the stay HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

We had such a wonderful stay at An Lam HCM. To be honest, we were not sure what to expect from our holiday in Ho Chi Minh, as we were travelling with small children (3 and 5 year old) as well as a teenager, and had heard mixed reports from friends that had visited HCM with children. To our delight we had a wonderful holiday and our stay at An Lam played a big part in that. Staying out of the city centre, which is hectic, was a great move. Despite the weather being 38 degrees plus everyday the resort always felt much cooler, with lots of shade and a wonderful breeze by the river. The speedboat transfer to the city centre was excellent and much faster than a taxi, not to mention very scenic - the children loved it. Likewise the food at Am Lam was wonderful, no complaints there! Our wonderful host Lynn made our stay so smooth, taking our kids to their activities and back. My 5 year old in particular formed quite a crush on her! Nothing was too small or big an issue and any extra request, like extra bottles of drinking water and mosquito spray, were quickly met. In all, a wonderful stay!
