For over 50 years, Bitter End Yacht Club has been a family-owned island outpost—reachable only by sea—where heritage nautical charm meets easy, modern comfort. Located on the protected waters of North Sound on the perennially top ranked Caribbean Island of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, the quintessential destination is a sailing and watersports mecca, thanks to its near perfect year-round sailing conditions, eternal sunshine, and crystal-blue waters.
Set within a lively marina village, guests find barefoot-luxury stays, fresh coastal dining, and a fleet built for play—from sailing and foiling to paddling and snorkel excursions. The vibe is relaxed and communal; couples, families, and groups feel instantly at home, and many return season after season to their homeport in the Caribbean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the BEYC. The attention to detail and the staff make this place incredible. Of course, the location is awesome with views of the North Sound and Saba Rock. Shout out to EJ, Saturn, Beach and Mrs. Dawn just to name a few. The water taxi's were an awesome way to get around as well as the ferry to Gun Creek. Super easy and always on time. If your planning a trip to the BVI, this is the place to stay.

Bitter End Yacht Club caters to sailors. The people that work there are lovely. We enjoy their growing number of activities. The service is great! We love Loraina's wonderful lattes every morning and her friendly service.

Today was the best day of our 16 day BVI trip. BEYC was on my bucket list for years. This is a gorgeous Resort on the North Sound. We came early for breakfast and stayed through lunch and few adult beverages. The food and drinks were all delicious!!! Their water taxi/ferry worked out perfect. Get there early so you can secure a parking spot at the ferry dock. The entire staff is terrific!!! The shops are also very nice. This is a shout-out to Baccus, bartender, and “Dr.” Jimron, head executive chef and “medic”. My wife had a 1.5” splinter from the boardwalk that was deep in her foot. They jumped into action to remove this stubborn splinter and cleaned up the wound. God bless these two and other staff that helped out. Wear sandals, water, shoes, or flip-flops so this does not happen to you. We had a great day hanging at the bars and relaxing on the beach. The wind was gusting up to 30 miles an hour so I was not able to take one of the Hobby Cats out for an hour sail. This is a spectacular! There is a lot going on here. The marina seems like to be the place to be! I highly recommend BEYC!!! Enjoy!!!

It’s been 10 years and a hurricane since we last visited the Bitter End. Whole new resort since resort. So many changes. Same beautiful location. Friendly staff. Good drinks. So much to do and explore. Most expensive drinks we came across . $80 for 4 Pina Colada’s (1 w/o alcohol) is crazy. Yes they were good .

This is my 3rd time here and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about this resort. First off, this resort was established i believe in the early 70s. It has such history. Then Hurricane Irma wiped the majority of it clean off. They had to start from scratch and it was just devastating. So they have built new lodging and its all just amazing. Ok next, I can't say this enough, their staff.... kindest, most polite, accommodating, attentive, full of smiles people I've EVER met while traveling. They are just so amazing. They made us simply feel happy inside. They have laundry service, coffee bar, 3 restaurants - all with amazing food! - a beach, all kinds of fun in the sun activities, yoga, a small ferry boat over to Virgin Gorda, they arrange taxi service, and the grounds are amazing and impeccably clean. We were on a sailboat and there are plenty of moorings. They have a gas dock and water as well. For those on boats, they have showers for people who want a reprieve from a small shower. I didn't see them but I'm sure they're impeccable. I highly recommend Bitter End Yacht Club, whether you're staying or or boating!
