For over 50 years, Bitter End Yacht Club has been a family-owned island outpost—reachable only by sea—where heritage nautical charm meets easy, modern comfort. Located on the protected waters of North Sound on the perennially top ranked Caribbean Island of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, the quintessential destination is a sailing and watersports mecca, thanks to its near perfect year-round sailing conditions, eternal sunshine, and crystal-blue waters.
Set within a lively marina village, guests find barefoot-luxury stays, fresh coastal dining, and a fleet built for play—from sailing and foiling to paddling and snorkel excursions. The vibe is relaxed and communal; couples, families, and groups feel instantly at home, and many return season after season to their homeport in the Caribbean.

We had an incredible 4 night stay at BEYC. Just two of us, and stayed in the Marina House for the entire trip. Can't speak highly enough about the quality of the room: gorgeous views, thoughtful design/amenities, very spacious, and a luxurious feel that retains the BVI & sailing feeling. Rechelle and Alisha were incredibly helpful in the weeks leading up to our trip to build out an itinerary. They made dinner reservations, lined up transportation (from airport and to different islands), and went out of their way to make us feel cared for. Truly 10/10 service. Food is great at each of the restaurants, along with the drinks at each bar. Watersports are always a hit. Plenty of beach space and comfortable lounging chairs to hang out. Can't say enough good things about BEYC, and look forward to returning as I know it's just going to keep getting better.

Had a night on a mooring ball here on recent trip round BVI - staff very helpful in giving directions to mooring over VHF. Ate in the Buoy Room, good tasty food with friendly service. Fish and chips particularly tasty. Will definitely be back on next visit

Took 2.5 hours for breakfast! Wrong orders. Forgotten orders. Beautiful place, horrible service.

We loved everything about our experience at the bitter end yacht club. The food, the atmosphere, the very clean and nice shower that we were able to use while on a mooring ball with our boat. We went to the restaurant for dinner on my birthday and absolutely everything was perfect. I decided to get a special souvenir from the shop and when I got home, I realized that the attendant accidentally put the wrong shirt in my bag. I sent a brief note along with a picture of the wrong shirt and the receipt for the right shirt to their customer service email address and immediately got a response from a real person who went way above and beyond to make sure that the correct shirt was sent to my home. It is so wonderful to know that in our era of faster and cheaper and applying technology to everything that there are still companies like the bitter end yacht club who really take care of making sure that visitors have the best possible time. If you get a chance to go, go! You won't regret it.

The Bitter End Yacht Club has been one of our favorites for over 10 yrs. This absolute gem is located at the eastern end of Virgin Gorda and offers an exceptional experience for any visiting sailor and crew. The best part of the club are the people. Cameron and his team of Nick, Trevon and Kimiha, make your arrival easy whether you are on the dock or at a mooring ball. After tying up visit Bibi who will greet you with a friendly smile and book your reservations at either the Buoy Room, a more relaxed venue, or the Clubhouse, with an upscale menu and the perfect evening view. We enjoyed table service at both restaurants from Yolanda, Alana, Tamara, Dawn and Laverne who catered to our every request. The kitchen offers a nice variety from relaxed to formal. If you're in the mood for pizza they have a brick oven option maned by the talented Ramone. For libations, try the new beach bar crafted from a beached boat. With Bacchus at the helm serving the best of drinks and camaraderie you'll feel like a part of the family. Saturn and Sweets are also mixologists in their own right. Once you've visited you'll want to return!!
