Very disappointed to hear that such a large corporation with massive grounds can be so selfish. I don’t want to stay at a place that has not learned after so many years to have respect for the land, water and people. Moving burials? Again? Why? So heart breaking. Won’t be going back and will share not to stay here.

Excellent time. Ocean view room in Nobu tower. First room not ocean view as reserved but fixed at desk. Room was excellent. Roomy and comfortable. Nobu tower may or may not be worth it. Breakfast was solid at Nobu with bagels, muffins, eggs etc. Lunch was fruit and granola type bars. Dinner was mix of cheeses, veggies and salad fixings. Beach is great. Staff is quite nice. Pool and beach chairs full up quick We came prepared to spend $$ but you can easily spend $$$$$ for upgrades.

Beautiful location and that’s where the curtain ends. Booked a king ocean view and we were given a double queen with a partial view. We were told they never guarantee the room you want, only if it’s available. They did end up moving us two days later. The Napua upgrade for the club amenities is definitely not worth it. Minimal food and large families with kids running all over the place. The staff doesn’t clean for days so there are dirty dishes everywhere. The pool takes the poor review even further down to TERRIBLE. When paying for a 5 star resort you shouldn’t have to fight for beach chairs. The chairs that are zip tied together so you can move them are monitored by the hour and staff removes your belongings. I witnessed multiple incidents where guest are angry with each other over whose chairs are theirs. The staff is unhelpful because management has come up with this ridiculous system making the staff the bad guys. We also paid $150 to have chairs on the beach and were told the same system was in place there too! It’s a beautiful resort, but obviously the people in charge don’t care that the guest have a wonderful experience. Stay at the Four Seasons. It’s in the same location and I guarantee the service is much better.

Everything appears nice on the surface, amenities, rooms, common spaces, pools. Lots and lots of out of control kids running rampant. We paid extra for the Napua room with food service at breakfast, lunch and appetizers/drinks for happy hour. VERY meager offerings. Lunch bites are one charcuterie tray for all rooms, bags of chips/granola bar. The biggest issue is the pool chairs. There are simply not enough chairs especially at the adult pool even though they have packed and zip tied them together like sardines. And, you can’t leave your chair for more than an hour or they remove your belongings so someone else can sit down. Many instances of ppl coming back to their chairs after going for a walk and arguments about whose chair it was. The staff are not helpful at all and shrug and walk away. Also very protective about towels - very weird vibes. One other issue - lots of CLUELESS people who blare their conversations on speaker or face time at their pool chair, in the pool, in the hot tub. We will not come back due to these issues.

As a family from the UK we picked this property for its amazing pool. We chose to stay at the adjacent villas. However by booking direct with Hilton this gave us full access to the resort as a regular hotel guest would. The privately owned villa was immaculate and very impressive as was the associated service from the villa staff (internal ‘Uber’ style drivers and villa reception) Now for the actual resort. It is NOT a cheap property. When paying these prices you expect a level of service to go with this price tag. However the resort has become complacent. Some slides were non operational. They had a water ‘lift’ - again this didn’t work. When we enquired the staff stated oh it’s been like that for ages. Additionally the breakfast at Hulu Is good but nowhere near a Waldorf 5 star standard. Think more beach resort. Next time. I would rent a villa privately from the owners direct and make do with the smaller included villa pool and not pay the significant premium for resort access. In conclusion. If the Waldorf are going to charge premium prices the resort needs to remain premium to satisfy guest expectation. It needs work in order to do so.
