Stop looking for a place to stay and book here! We just returned from a stay at Wailea Beach Villas (WBV) and it was the best: a luxurious, beautiful place and terrific staff (Nicole at check-in was super). I did a lot of research on where to stay wanting to forgo a hotel this visit (previously we've stayed in Kaanapali and The Ritz Carlton Kapalua). I looked toward Wailea for ease to and from the airport and I had driven through the Wailea area on previous visits to Maui and liked that it was less congested. WBV are just stunning! I was concerned my teens might not be entertained enough here, but they loved it too and if you need a little action the beach walkway takes you to all the nearby hotels. The quality of the villas is that of a custom home with high-end finishes, spa-like bathrooms and very good linens and towels. Our favorite was opening the glass doors to the lanai and having an open-air family room. Plus no resort fee, parking fee, etc.

I can't say enough about this place. It has the best of a hotel and the privacy and luxury and amenities of a $5M condo. The views of the beach and Molokini crater are insane. The decor is top notch. Sub zero fridges (yes plural) in the kitchen and even a kitchen aid mixer (not that I'm baking on my Hawaiian vacation). High end everything and tastefully furnished. When we arrived, a bell man came and not only took our bags up to the condo, he took our car and parked it. A concierge brought us upstairs and showed us the lay of the land. We had trouble working one of the many huge flat screen tvs, and there was bell man again, in an instant, to help us out. Walk down to the gorgeous beach and there's a man to get us set up with nice chairs and towels and umbrellas and it's NOT crowded! Kids pool and adult pool, also not crowded. If you want drinks by the beach, no big deal, head over to one of the several hotels that are literally right there and you can grab lunch and drinks from their facilities. Yes, really. There are goegeous lush flowers everywhere on these grounds. The unit has soap and ample towels and all of the things you'd expect at a hotel but you have a huge condo with privacy and luxury and you don't have to fight for chairs at the beach or pool. There's a Viking grill on the terrace with its own gas line. This place really has it all. Of course, there's no restaurants. Who cares? You walk out the front of the condo complex and you are literally at the shops at Wailea where you can grab a delicious breakfast at Longhi's and get whatever else you may need. There are restaurants all around - some top notch ones too - read my other reviews lol. They even have shuttle service if you're worried about having a cocktail. This is the way to go if you're coming to Maui and if you're with a family and were going to get two rooms at the four seasons or the fairmont, the price is comparable. I can't say enough about it. So glad we did this instead of a traditional hotel. The units are all different and have separate ownership. Our experience was in penthouse unit I 403R.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at the Wailea Beach Villas (WBV). Our condo, h-202 was billed as a garden view from the balcony but we enjoyed our view of the sunset over the Pacific very much. The condo is spacious and finely appointed; the master bedroom and ensuite with walk-in closet is larger than you need but a welcome retreat. The kitchen is well supplied and the balcony very comfortable for meals or drinks at home. It is a convenient stroll to the beach and the other great hotel properties on the beach. The adult pool is cool and the other lounge chairs are very close to the beach. The service provided in the lobby, including the car (a Tesla SUV) available to drive you to dinner destinations in Wailea is great. The location of the WBV is next to none, close to the beach and right next to the chi-chi Shops of Wailea. The only slight is that the front desk closes at 8pm and you get a hold of the car to return from dinner after that time -- but the resulting walk back was probably better in the long run. We stayed at the Fairmont Kea Lani for 5 days before staying at this condo for 7 days. The view from our Fairmont room was better but overall we preferred the condo for the value, the extra space and the ability to make a sandwich for lunch instead of ordering a $25 burger at the Fairmont. Highly recommended

Could not imagine a better place to stay. The condo/villa was fully equipped. Very spacious for our family of four in the two bedroom one. Great to have a washer and dryer when we had already been traveling for nearly a week. Everything was state of the art and brand new. Convient 5 minute walk through the complex to be on the beach with chairs, towels and umbrellas waiting. Cross the street and you are in a upscale open air shopping mall with gourmet grocery if you want to eat at home in the condo, get a bite to eat, get off the beach and do a little shoppping, or grab some great ice cream. Considering that our children are pretty much grown and don''t want to share a room with us or beds with one another, the cost for two nice rooms in a hotel is about equal to the cost of the villa. A great bargain!
