Fox Harb'r Resort Fox Harbour Beautiful East Coast Resort 949739520 After five stays at Fox Harb’r resort I remain totally impressed with the accommodations, the amenities and the very friendly staff. Resort amenities include a championship golf course, a luxurious spa, a private airstrip, boating and wilderness activities. We will return.

Very disappointed in our experience. We booked the dining room the night before on the phone with an actual staff member and packed appropriately for the dress code. Really looked forward to the experience. Upon check in the next day not even 24 hours later we were told there was a private function in the dining room so they moved us to the pub downstairs. (they didn't know the day before? I doubt it) Gave us a free breakfast coupon. The pub food was horrible and the atmosphere worse. Cold and dark. Staff bringing food in through doors that opened an brought a blast of cold air around our feet. Slow service and fairly unprofessional so not much point in brining that to his attention and having more excuses. I would say the dessert was good and the breakfast the next morning was also tasty. I requested foam pillows in the room but did not get those either. Probably will not be back.

You will not be disappointed! The food, music, beverages, accommodations & staff are amazing. Be sure to come hungry

As a Nova Scotia wedding planner, I recently had the pleasure of being invited out to tour the property of Fox Harb’r Resort with a group of talented wedding planners, designers and decorators. Upon arriving to the resort, I was in complete awe. It is still early spring so not everything is in bloom or planted yet but their property was still meticulously manicured, gorgeous green grass, and delicate daffodils throughout. I felt like I had been transported to a different world. I was greeted promptly using the intercom before entering through the private gate to the resort where I made my way to the main building, the stunning Joyce Centre. I was traveling the furthest out of my group of planners, and arrived a few minutes late for the tour, but not to fret! I was immediately greeted as soon as I got out of my vehicle by the bellman, Chris. He ensured I had a speedy check in, and then offered to deliver my luggage to my guest suite and park my car on my behalf. After checking in, I had to figure out where the group was at so I could join the tour. The resort had trackers on their shuttles, and Chris was able to pinpoint exactly where the rest of my group was and personally drove me via shuttle to meet up with them! This way I didn’t have to miss anything at all, and I had comfort in knowing everything was being taken care of and I could simply relax, breathe and enjoy myself. He was very courteous always opening and closing doors for me. I didn’t have to lift a finger. The tour itself was phenomenal lead by Josie and Dawn, the catering and event managers. The resort is unlike anything I have ever seen, you truly need to visit the resort in person and experience it for yourself. The grounds are so large (hence why the need for shuttles) - and there is so much to see!! From the golf course, the panoramic ocean views, the sporting lodge, the clubhouse dining spaces, the spa, the Olympic size pool, mineral pool & jacuzzi, the outdoor terraces, and more.. Every angle of the resort is absolutely stunning and brimming with opportunity for you to live out your luxury dreams while on vacation and especially get married to the love of your life here. After the tour, imo was treated to a four course meal in the Nova Scotia Ballroom as well! It was so delightful - the chef even came out to greet us at the end of the meal where we were able to extend our thanks. Here was the menu: First Course Baby Spinach Salad with Blueberries, Pickled Shallots, Toasted Almonds & Goat Cheese Second Course Butternut Squash & Goat Cheese Filled Ravioli, Smoked Tomato Puree, Wilted Spinach Main Roast Breast of Chicken Stuffed with Asparagus & Goat Cheese wrapped in Prosciutto, Truffle Mashed Potato,Natural Jus Dessert Amaretto Cheese Cake, Fresh Berries, Sugar Moon Maple Sauce Dinner was beautiful and the service staff were very friendly, hospitable and professional. The shuttle brought me back to my guest suite after dinner and I got to totally relax after a long day of driving, touring and mingling with others. My guest suite was in building 9 and was a King Executive Room with a balcony overlooking the course. The room was spotless, the fridge was stocked and the coffee maker is probably the fastest one I have ever used. They use Tim Hortons Keurig cups which made me feel right at home. I slept like a baby in my king size bed and the added blinds really helped achieve a darker room as opposed to just having curtains. This Resort truly anticipates your every need and desire. Even the bathroom had a large soaker tub, a gorgeous standing shower, and luxury amenities. Might I add, heated floors too. My heart was truly singing when I woke up from the coolness of the bedroom to enter in the warmth beneath my feet as I began my morning routine. Before checking out and heading home, I ate breakfast in the Cape Cliff dining room. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with ham! It was delightful. The service was very prompt, kind and genuine as well. Always topping up our water and coffee and catering to our needs. I was able to check out efficiently from my phone via email and get back on the road afterwards. I cannot wait to revisit Fox Harb’r with my husband in tow next time. He would absolutely love the axe throwing and archery at the Sporting Lodge, while I get pampered in the Dol-as Spa on site! This place is truly unlike any other. It is definitely a Bucket List destination that I am so honored to have experienced for myself.
