I can not believe that a hotel that on its breakfast menu goes on about its eggs then has the nerve to serve POWDERED EGGS FOR ITS SCRAMBLED EGGS Revolting is an over statement If you needed a reason not to stay that’s the one I choose Then actually not shamed to tell you Seriously it’s so quick to make scrambled eggs as quick as fried poached boiled so what’s with the powdered eggs How any dining establishment would even want to have these in their kitchen Disappointed and disgusted

Had a wonderful afternoon tea in amazing surroundings. The waitress was lovely and we couldn't fault anything. Definitely going back

We been coming here twice a year for the last 15 years. One of my favourite hotels and we're seasoned travellers. We used to come with children - fabulous expansive grounds and large rooms. Children's menu and decent swimming pool. We now travel with a small dog who loves the grounds and the cute touches we get when travelling with a pooch. Our favourite things? The history of the place - this is not a corporate hotel in an old brick facade. Rather, this is a 15th Century gem with library, hidden priest holes, secret tunnels and a history dating back to the Tudor Reformation. The staff shine here too. Happy, polite, chatty, really eager to help. A special shout out to Damon. If you want a tour, see Damon. He's been here 20 years. Also shining on our recent stay were Lydia, Ollie, Ethan, Daniel, Angela and Chris (Estates team). Thanks for looking after us. This is our happy place. X

What a lovely place to stay. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, coffee bags and real milk what else do you need in a room?! Grounds are beautiful. Staff have been friendly and accommodating resulting in an impromptu tour of the house. Food delicious and for my gluten free partner loads of choice!! And to top it off a lovely wee swimming pool and spa.

This place is a really nice place to stay. The rooms are old and antique, which embraces the "old england" feel. The staff members were extremely nice and flexible. The breakfast as well as the dinner was nice, but a little bit on the pricier range. The hotel was well-priced, but I would say to only stay here if you want a retreat. The actual Cotswald is a 30 minute drive from this hotel. But, we enjoyed walking around the large gardens and staying in the hotel. We would definitely come again.
