★★★★★ A Beautiful Escape with Gracious Service My sister and I had a wonderful stay at the Mayflower Inn & Spa while celebrating her birthday. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel well taken care of throughout our visit. The property itself is stunning. The gardens are beautifully maintained, and the herb garden was one of my favorite spots to wander through. Every corner of the inn feels peaceful and thoughtfully designed, making it the perfect place to slow down and relax. The outdoor pool is absolutely lovely—quiet, elegant, and a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. We also enjoyed lunch there, and the burger was surprisingly one of the highlights of the trip: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The spa was relaxing overall, but there was one aspect that fell short of expectations. I was disappointed that there isn’t a traditional indoor sauna. Instead, the sauna is located outside in a small barrel-style structure that comfortably fits only one or two people. It felt a bit cramped and didn’t offer the serene spa experience I was hoping for. Even with that, the overall experience was exceptional. Between the beautiful grounds, outstanding hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and tranquil atmosphere, the Mayflower Inn is a special destination that I’d happily return to.

Try to avoid big “whole property” events and rooms on the third floor (no elevator). The accommodations are excellent, the staff capable and helpful, and the food very good.

The grounds were beautiful and exceptionally well maintained, creating exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. Our rooms were uniquely different, charming, and very clean. We loved the character and individuality of each room, and everything felt thoughtful and special. The Mayflower truly delivered the experience we were hoping for. The combination of the beautiful property, unique accommodations, and wonderful staff made our stay memorable. We felt very well cared for and appreciated the genuine hospitality we received. Overall, it was an excellent stay and a wonderful experience, and we would absolutely recommend the Mayflower to others. Thank you to the entire team for making our time there so special!

Mayflower Inn is a charming and welcoming retreat with a peaceful, cozy atmosphere. The spa and pools were amazing, and the food was excellent—especially the lobster rolls, which were absolutely wow-worthy! We also loved playing Scrabble in the lobby and enjoying the delicious morning coffee. Every detail made our stay relaxing, memorable, and truly special.
