A great CT utility getaway.
This is a friendly, relaxed getaway in rural New England. Really friendly staff; clean, spacious rooms; simple and elegant and easy to relax. I was there for a business trip. Great way to reconnect with colleagues. Would be good for a family or couple as well. Gorgeous area too - lovely nearby town, but I didn't venture in much, since I was doing work stuff.

A perfectly indulgent weekend getaway!
From the moment we drove onto the property of The Mayflower Inn & Spa, our stress melted away. The inn is nestled among the trees on a beautiful wooded property and the staff greeted us as soon as we parked. My daughter and I knew immediately that we had chosen a perfect destination for our long weekend away! The check-in process was smooth and our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We loved our meals in both the Garden Room and the Tap Room - food was delicious and wine list was fabulous! Cocktails at the bar in the Tap Room were expertly crafted. Our day at The Retreat was our most amazing spa experience to date! Staff was professional and helpful, and the environment in the spa was completely relaxing and rejuvenating. Staff at the inn were always helpful with recommendations for local places to visit, shop or eat. We are already planning a return trip!

Idyllic stay in CT countryside
The rooms are beautiful. They are extremely well decorated. The spa was very nice and my massage was just what I needed. The service was also excellent. It was the countryside escape I needed.

mom and daughter stay
We loved our stay! My mom and I spent a few days here this past week and thoroughly enjoyed watching the winter storm from the cozy inn. The staff went above and beyond, working together seamlessly to ensure the storm didn’t affect our trip. The spa was absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations again— this being our second visit! The staff and amenities are truly what keep us coming back; it’s a beautiful hidden hideaway, a peaceful escape from the real world.

“The Mayflower Inn and Spa was luxuriously kept and meticulously clean. We had an all-inclusive two night stay. The food was excellent as was our spa experience. Can't say enough nice things about the employees especially Travis and Timmy and Matt, our hiking guide. Excellent all around experience. Can't wait to return!”
