An Exceptional Holiday Company Retreat at The Mayflower

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

In December our company celebrated the holidays with an overnight retreat at The Mayflower. From the first arrival to the final departure, the level of care, thoughtfulness, attention to detail, kindness, etc. was extraordinary. Far beyond the beautiful venue, wonderful accommodations, memorable spa treatments, and delicious food, what I’ll truly remember most were the constant smiles I saw from everyone staff member with whom my team and I interacted. We felt remarkably welcomed and genuinely cared for. Our events were well-planned and flawlessly delivered. The Mayflower is a truly special place - and those who work there are a truly special team. Many thanks!

One night Getaway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Me and my wife have been to the Mayflower many times in the past. We took advantage of a friends and family promotion for a one night getaway. Upon arraivel the valet was great anf took our bags to the room and parked our car right next to it. The front desk was perfect for both check in and arrival. We had dinner at the Tap Room and had a couples massage at the spa. The food was good but the menu selection was limited. Our waiter was very nice and accomodated our requests. The couples massage was amazing and the staff at the spa is incrediible.

Overpriced and underwhelming

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

We went for New Year’s Eve dinner. While the food was tasty, the portions were misincule -not in keeping with the price which was exorbitant. When my entree arrived, it was so small that my wife laughed at the size. We asked for bread and were presented with a chunk of stale brown bread with a dollop of tasteless butter. When the check was presented I noticed a $9.00 charge for bread which I objected to and it was removed from my check. A dissapointing and underwhelming overpriced dinner. We will never return to this establishment. In addition when I called to state my experience to the manager , his response was unhelpful and unacceptable.

Top Spa Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Our experience at The Mayflower Inn spa was truly restorative. We started the morning with a workout in the gym before heading to our spa treatments. After we did lunch then laps in the pool, jacuzzi and steam room. The massage was deeply relaxing, and the service during our lunch was attentive and seamless. A particular highlight was spending time in the Garden Room—those high ceilings and plush, comfy couches create the ultimate sanctuary for unwinding. We did a yoga class that set a perfect tone for the following day. We highly recommend.

Marvelous Mayflower

If you are thinking of booking the Mayflower Inn and Spa -do it! A perfect getaway in every sense. From the moment I arrived every interaction was warm and welcoming. The property is stunning, the spa gorgeous and relaxing, the food delicious, but the service is outstanding and what I’ll remember the most. The valet team was helpful and friendly. The front desk team greeted me and was incredibly helpful throughout my entire stay. I started my trip with a Taste of the Country experience which was a lovely array of wine, beer, cheeses, fruits, crackers, bread and dips-perfect start to the trip. The room was spacious and had a balcony, tub and shower. Their sitting rooms are cozy with fireplaces and have a game room and a tucked away library. The meals were delicious-pastas incredible, breakfasts with a nice array of options and delicious cocktails. Speaking of -took a cocktail class as well -learned how to make 3 drinks. Informative and fun. And of course had a relaxing massage in the stunning retreat spa space. Could have spent hours there. And the best part -they are super dog friendly. They not only recognized me during every interaction, but most importantly my dog Pedro. Many places say they are dog friendly but this place truly embodies it and it made the trip perfect. Overall a 10/10. The property is beautiful, team outstanding and I can’t wait to come back in the warmer weather.

“The Mayflower Inn and Spa was luxuriously kept and meticulously clean. We had an all-inclusive two night stay. The food was excellent as was our spa experience. Can't say enough nice things about the employees especially Travis and Timmy and Matt, our hiking guide. Excellent all around experience. Can't wait to return!”
