This was out second visit to DC but our first to the Hyatt. Really impressed by pretty much everything, although the Club Lounge was particularly special. Bizarre system for charging for alcohol in the lounge though with a machine dispensing wine once you've tapped your card. For European visitors that's pretty bizarre but at least the wine was fairly cheap! Quite noisy around the hotel due to a refurb programme but it didn'y bother us. Great location; walkable to the Mall, White House and just round the corner from Ford's Theatre which is worth a visit.

A place to feel special. From check-in to check-out a lovely experience. All staff were friendly, professional & engaging. Great location for all our activities. We walked everywhere, but the metro wasn't far, so we got a train out to Arlington too. Back to the hotel itself. Beautiful lobby area with staff always on hand. The room was spacious however, next time, I would rather have an outside facing window than inside atrium facing. The bathoom was slightly dated but really clean. The bed was really comfortable too.

Earlier review of this property indicated rooms are "dated". No longer. Massive improvements are being made - nice flooring, awesome bed, cute/efficient lighting and nice other decor including some pretty cool wallpaper. And of course the location is still one of the best in the city.

Great location, food, and great service! Everyone was spectacular! The drinks were magnificent and the breakfast was great!
