No food on weekends and no coffee ever

Staying for a volleyball tournament and just found out the restaurant does not open on weekends so there is no onsite breakfast/food option. Even better, they don't have coffee here.

Profit over people at this hotel!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Horrible customer service! I am terribly dyslexic, noticed I typed in the incorrect check-out date and booked for 1 day too many. Immediately called the hotel as I noticed that I was about 22 hours past the cancellation date. Was hoping for some flexibility, but no. Was given the run-around for a week, repeatedly calling, repeatedly being told that a manager would get back to me, but alas, Nope. The manager I finally hunted down to talk with me on the phone would not budget from corporate policy. Profit over people. Sorry that I will be staying at such a hotel.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful hotel. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The place and room was wonderfully clean. The sheets and towels were changed every day (even though we didn't ask for it). Great experience and economically sound.

Small room, comfortable bed...

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Stayed at this Yotel two summers ago and enjoyed our stay. Booked a king bed but ended up with 2 doubles. Made the best of it. This time we got a king bed but the room is so small that the bed takes up a majority of the space. There were only 2 bath towels and wash cloths. No hand towels? There used to be coffee stations by the elevators. Told they were eliminated. No in-room coffee or tea and, for me, that is a real disappointment.

Great for a well-behaved student group

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

I have nothing but great things to say about Yotel. We took a group of 40 students to DC and stayed with Yotel. The hotel was clean, modern, and updated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. We were just a couple of blocks from the National Mall and 1 block from Union Station. We used the Union Station food court both nights we were there for student dining. Bus parking was only a couple of blocks away at the Union Station bus garage. Thank you Yotel for hosting us. We will be back next year.
