Very pleased with visit! Two day stay with kids to see the sights and pleased with ease of walking to Capital Bldg and National Mall/Washington Monument. Hotel room very clean, concierge very welcoming and helpful. The rooftop pool was a big plus as something for adults and kids to feel included. It was nice to relax at pool after a busy day walking and sightseeing. Brittany and Jimmy at the rooftop bar very welcoming , friendly and helpful! They make an extra effort to be engaging and make guests feel at home. You can tell they are happy to be working at such a fun place. The cabanas at pool very plentiful and comfortable. There are plenty of pool towels and seating. The view is wonderful in the evening with the lighting. Bar at rooftop pool has excellent Sangria and drink selections. The staff also has Shirley Temples for the kids!Lifeguard at pool a plus as well.

A pleasant stay, great location, excellent service. Do note that the wi-fi is not included but an add on fee. Some have had issue with this but I had anticipated this. I would stay here again if I need a hotel in DC again.

Not sure if we just picked the most absolute crowded time to come to Wash DC or if this hotel is always this packed to the gills, but every time we walked through the lobby to our room it was like summertime Disneyland in there at all hours. I've never seen such a well (over) populated lobby. And while the crowds made the lobby and bar during our one week's stay just a little inconvenient, it made the pool area unusable. Liaison, I realize you make some extra money charging people not staying there for pool privileges, but it makes pool use for your guests impossible. If I were going to a seminar or a reunion and my compatriots were staying there with me or meeting for a drink, it probably would have been the best time ever. For a family of 3 trying to see the sights and maybe a little sunbathing? not so much. I also was sorely missing a refrigerator in the room, maybe a microwave. And no love for visiting tea drinkers-- only coffee offered in-room. Restaurant downstairs was very good but rather expensive, and the car parking was even higher. The pros to this hotel: super close to the capitol and the museums. Room décor was very nice. Friendly staff.
