Art and Soul, Liaison's restaurant, is my "go to" place for a business lunch. Yesterday I had the pulled pork sandwich -- it was delicious. Our hostess, Dionne was, as always, warm and efficient. Our waiter was great, the food came quickly, but there was no pressure to be in and out quickly. I will be back.

Just completed a 100 person meeting at the Liaison. I was quite surprised at the responsiveness of all the staff and their 'can do" attitude. The sleeping room was comfortable and spacious. I ordered room service and it came quick and hot. Bertha in banquets was so accommodating and attentive as was Alan and the Front Desk.

Searched for a reasonably priced hotel room for a conference and found this spot. In the shadows of the Capitol dome, it was a short walk from Union Station, a 2 mile walk from the White House, and a very comfortable and well designed property.

We have been to DC 3 times and this is the first time we have been disappointed by the hotel. The location is great, however the price for what you get was disappointing. We have stayed at a Holiday Inn and had better rooms and a lower price. Our room was on the tenth floor which is directly below the 24hr gym. Luckily it seemed to quiet down around 11. But, we spent the first night trying to figure out what was the banging. Looks like a cheap Boutique Hotel, but somehow misses the mark. Great if you are going to look at anything on the Mall or if you are taking the train as far as closeness. Otherwise it is a zero not worth $350 a night.
