This Hotel is a great place for tourists. It is about a 10 minute walk to the white house and 20 mins to a lot of the museums. The hotel is of a good standard and the room was a large size. It had plenty of space for the two of us our cases and a bit of mess. We was disappointed as we really wanted to eat in the restaurant attached to the hotel, however it was closed one night we was there and had a private function another night. The staff were very helpful, we needed some help to print tickets of for a show we was seeing and the staff could not have been more helpful with this. They also advised us of things to do and how to travel around the city. The inside help was fantastic. I did feel the hotel was expensive and there were others at better value around. However it was not too expensive and we would return.

Got a good deal on this hotel. We found it to be comfortable and centrally located. Room was a bit tight, but comfortable and clean. All the important sites were an easy 10 - 15 Uber ride away. Many sites were within walking distance.

The location of this hotel is great - within a 10 minute walk of the White House is fantastic, and as its a little bit further out, the area is not too busy, but has plenty of places nearby for breakfast. The hotel was an overall good standard, though the restauaraunt was closed when we were there, and the bar food was very limited - and served the smallest pizza I've ever seen (though the burger was of decent size!). Hoewever, the issue was with credit cards - upon check-in they swiped my credit card to cover any incidentals, such as the minibar (as I'd already pre-paid for the room), and when I checked out, they confirmed there were no payments to be made, and so no charge would be taken from my card. However, on returning to the UK, I found they had taken nearly $400 from my card on the day of check-out - it took 2 lengthy international phone calls fro them to confirm that they thought they hadn't received the pre-payment from the third party who I had pre-paid (even though they confirmed on check-in and check-out that they had already received payment from me), so they had just helped themselves to money by re-charging the full amount to my card! What slowed down the situation, was that the day after we left, the hotel was sold to Hilton, and the staff told me that they couldn't help as all the systems had changed, and so they passed me to 2 separate accounts departments. I eventually got my money credited back into my account after a week, but it was a stressful experience, and the hotel didn't seem to want to help, and I never even received an apology. I would hope now that Hilton are running the hotel they will improve upon their finance systems, as the hotel itself is good, but this situation was handled very badly, and even now, just someone from the hotel saying sorry would be appreciated, but I'm not holding my breath.

The rooms were clean and the service was excellent. I enjoyed my stay. It is close to the NEA building and in walking distance to many good places to eat. The staff are friendly and eager to help. I will be happy to recommend and expect to stay again.

Worn out saggy bed, mediocre room, missing concierge, had to almost beg for water while they verified I was an Honors member. No refrigeration except a minibar that warns of a charge if you put personal items in it. 1 ice machine every 6 floors. I travel a bit for business and usually find the Hilton/Hampton brand reliable. Not here. $300+ per night and no coffee in the room, told at the desk that I could purchase it in the restaurant. Really? Then I see post saying they got complimentary coffee. Worst Hilton stay ever.
