Reviews for Rosewood Washington DC
My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The room was stunning. Very stylish, clean and comfortable. The staff provided outstanding service as well! Thank you!
We stayed here as part of the American Express Fine Hotels & Resorts program as we were able to get the third night free deal. We usually stay downtown but wanted to try the Georgetown area and we are so glad we did. There are so many shops and amazing restaurants and cafes, all easily walkable and safe. The hotel staff here treats everyone like family and make a point to know everyone by name. The rye bar staff was especially great, making us feel special. We started out in a Rosewood suite on the 2nd floor. Our view was of a brick wall in one room and a dumpster in another. It was very dark and there was a strong kitchen odor present that did not go away. Thankfully the hotel was able to move us to the 5th floor Georgetown suite. It was smaller but we preferred the layout, lightness (and freshness) of the room and views were much better. The bed and bedding, bathroom and shower were excellent and the fruit delivery each day is a great touch. Overall, the room was very spacious, quiet, beautifully decorated and comfortable. They have a small exercise facility with nice equipment with access to larger ones. The rooftop view is beautiful but was closed due to the season. With the exception of having to move rooms, this hotel was perfect!

It's as if one is in two hotels, one very modern and trendy restaurant bar downstairs. With impeccable, courteous, helpful and smiling staff, they can't do enough for one. Upstairs the rooms are a disappointment, they are nothing much and not worth the price. The Bathrooms were spacious, much larger for such small rooms

Greg, the overnight supervisor, was extremely helpful in securing my room following an accidental cancellation of the room on my end. He did everything possible to ensure that I had a room to stay at when I arrived at 11pm, even offering to change the sheets and clean up a room himself. Fortunately there was a clean room and I was able to have a nice night's sleep there.

Everything was wonderful, your staff was engaging, professional, met every need promptly, I felt like I had a very needy group - dietary restrictions, room temp, feather allergy, drink refreshment in meeting room, and our staff pleasantly and professionally met every need. Danea and Emiliano were great to work with, my boss was very satisfied with all of the logistics. She has bought out your restaurant and had rooftop parties at Rosewood and Capella. I know we'll be back again. Thank you.
