Q) Can you take me through what a guests stay would be like and what an average day might entail in terms of activities, etc?
A) Many guests choose to either dine in the restaurant or order in-room dining for breakfast or weekend brunch. They may then decide to venture out into the city for the day after borrowing one of our Walking Tour or BYOB Kits. Many families return around lunchtime to spend the afternoon enjoying our Rooftop Pool & Bar where they can eat lunch, swim in the pool, or relax on one of our lounge chairs or cabanas. Art and Soul restaurant is the perfect place to order Happy Hour at the bar, enjoy a dinner of Southern and seasonal favorites, and relax on the patio and appreciate the Capitol view next to the fire pit.
Q) What elements about your property are truly luxurious?
A) Guests have access to the complimentary 24-hour fitness center and seasonal rooftop pool bar that were both renovated in 2011. The Liaison also offers a variety of in-room spa services that can be booked during their stay. Guests may use Experience Kits that are available at the desk; we offer a Walking Tour Kit with an iPod loaded with walking tour and workout playlists, a Stay Fit Kit for guests who prefer to work out in their guestroom, and a BYOB kit complete with a wine carrier and picnic blanket. During the summer months we offer daily complimentary yoga on the roof in the mornings.

A) Washington, DC has something to offer in every season. The spring and fall tend to have cooler temperatures ideal for taking a city tour or visiting the monuments, National Zoo, Botanical Gardens, and other outdoor attractions on foot. The Rooftop Pool & Bar is open in the summer to guests who are looking for a resort atmosphere in the midst of the city's hustle and bustle. In the winter, visitors have a variety of holiday festivals, markets, and ceremonies to attend including the National Tree Lighting Ceremony.
