Set on 480 acres of lush Florida countryside, just 30 minutes north of Tampa, the Saddlebrook Resort Tampa is deliciously secluded from the hectic pace of everyday life. You'll delight with the resort's idyllic small town atmosphere as you stroll the shops in its centerpiece, known as Walking Village. Deluxe guestrooms and suites decorated in tasteful tropical tones all feature a balcony or patio. The resort also offers a range of fine dining, from the fresh seafood of Cypress Restaurant to Dempsey's Steak House.

The room was musty and outdated. To operate the shower I had to call the front desk. Carpet was dirty and there's water stains in the ceiling. Some of the websites advertised Free parking! False advertisement is $30 a nightmare and no option to park it yourself. Also $28 resort fee to complete the disappointment for a outdated smelly room. Further more in 35 minutes from Tampa city.

Management seemed to discriminate against people of lower means Staff as well as guest. Me and my family felt very uncomfortable from check in to check out.

If you want old dusty rooms then this is the place for you. The check in was horrible & staff was rude. The best thing about Thai location are the go cart drivers who pick you up.

The rooms are dated. Smells musky. The phones in the room don't all work. Everything is spread apart, so if you need a ride around and a large group is at the resort, it could take more than 30 minutes. Those driving the cart speed through the property. I almost got hit twice because of their carelessness. They don't have enought overnight staff, so it could take 30-45 minutes to depart after checkout. So if you are catching a flight, plan accordingly.

Sadly a historically beautiful resort has not modernized to the times. The concept of it being a walking resort is hard on elderly and people with mobility issues. Lots of waiting on shuttles yet those were the best employees, the shuttle / golf cart drivers. Valet was full so you had to park very very far away and take a shuttle and a golf cart
