Sunset Marquis

I took my husband to Sunset Marquis as a getaway to celebrate his birthday and I am so glad I did -- it was fantastic. First off, the location is very unique -- beautiful lush grounds, a large, open-air onsite restaurant, two stunning bars that serve creative cocktails and two beautiful pools all in the heart of West Hollywood. We are LA natives, we live 15 minutes from WeHo and had no idea the place existed, you feel like you're in a secluded oasis and yet, it does have a fun, hip very LA vibe. I did not notice any kids, while I'm sure they're welcome, the hotel definitely had more of an adult feel, which we enjoyed. And while they were doing extensive renovations, it did not impact our stay in the least. Since we weren't interested in sightseeing, we did not leave the property, we just enjoyed the pool, the lovely setting, the food and the cocktails. Our room was gorgeous, we got a free upgrade to a recently renovated room. It was spotless, very stylish and had a large, private patio. Among the nicest accommodations we've ever had and we do travel a lot. But the heart of our experience was truly the wonderful staff. Honestly, they were all so incredibly kind and polite, from Harlan at the front desk to the sweet maid to the valets, everyone made our visit that much more special. We will definitely return for another getaway!

The entire staff were absolutely wonderful! They went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and I had a wonderful time. I highly recommend the Sunset Marquis- great location and amazing staff!

The best gem of a hotel in a quite area in West Hollywood. Rooms are spacious and so comfortable The grounds are beautiful. Resturant is amazing. Pricing was great too. Rhe location is perfect Everyone at the hotel was kind and so helpful;)

We stayed at the Sunset Marquis in Los Angeles for four nights and absolutely loved it. It was one of the quietest and most peaceful hotel stays we’ve ever had, which was such a pleasant surprise for LA. The property is tucked away but still within walking distance of a few shops, which made it feel private yet convenient. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the pool area is large and relaxing—perfect for unwinding after a day out. We also really enjoyed the small bar and the musician photo gallery, which gave the hotel such a cool, creative vibe. The brunch menu was a little fancy for me, but the staff went out of their way to accommodate and make something simple. I’m a pancake-and-bacon kind of gal, so I was very thankful they made it happen! We didn’t get a chance to visit the spa this trip, but it’s definitely on the list for next time. The villas looked adorable as well, and I would love to stay in one on a future visit. We were nervous about finding a place we loved in LA since we usually stay in the Irvine/Newport Beach area, but this hotel is now our favorite spot in Los Angeles. Highly recommend!

Expect a big bill if u touch anything in your room, Overly priced on room drinks and food, m&ms where nearly 17 dollars, sodas wher over priced, a shot of jack was 20 something dollars AND there where a few charges for thinks i didnt have. Room was clean, kinda goody colors tho... Valet staff was kind tho.....
