Sunset Marquis

Sunset Marquis is just steps from Sunset Boulevard, but it has an oasis-like vibe. Exceptional staff. Clean and well-maintained property. Restaurant and bar are consistently good. The musical history of the hotel makes it unique. I can't recommend it enough.

There's no place quite like the sunset marquis. The hotel has been a rock & roll staple of LA for decades. But above all it's a wonderful, cozy, family-run hotel with perfect service and a great warm atmosphere. A special thanks to the bell staff, checking desk and Josefa at housekeeping

We have stayed here many times now over the last decade or more. Lives up to its legendary status every time. The rooms- beds- sheets are so comfortable. The Sunset Marquis is one of those rare hotels that actually lives up to its legendary reputation. From the moment you step on property, you feel the history - like you’re part of the long line of artists, musicians, and dreamers who’ve made this place their hideaway. There’s a certain magic in the air here, equal parts rock ’n’ roll and old Hollywood charm. The restaurant is fantastic - every meal felt spot-on, and you can tell they take real pride in the food. And the piano bar? Just plain fun. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time because the energy is that good. The rooms could use a little updating here and there, but honestly, they’re so comfortable and welcoming that it didn’t matter. I loved staying here and can’t wait to come back.
