Always a great experience!

Always stay at Chateau Whistler whenever I go to Whistler and I very visit is a great experience. Everyone are very welcoming! They make our stay feeling at home. From the Front Desk to housekeepers and health club staffs who are very kin to what everyone may need. Dining facilities are excellent. Nothing to say but superb stay as always! Keep it up! These are the reason why we keep coming back at Chateau Whistler. Thank you

A great place to stay

Second time there for business. It is a very nice hotel, and the staff are very friendly. Interacted with the valets more than any others. Most are visitors and are interesting to talk to. The hotel itself is quite large. Rooms and beds are what one would expect. Really enjoyed the outdoor pools and hot tubs. Definitely worth visiting.

Captures the essence of Canada

I have lived in Canada for 25 years and have travelled worldwide for both business and pleasure. I have a lifetime SPG platinum membership. I've frequented hotel lounges from London to Paris, Shanghai to Singapore, and beyond. The staff at this hotel exemplify excellence, from the valets at the front to the room service staff, the front desk, the pool area, and the Gold Lounge staff on the 8th floor. The service here captures the essence of the Canadian people: genuine, friendly, welcoming, and warm

Gold level is worth it!

Booking a Gold Room is well worth the premium, it was a busy working weekend for me, so having breakfast, coffee, snack etc handy while I was doing a lot of writing and attending an event at the hotel over the weekend made it feel like a break and not a working weekend. From getting last minute nail appointment to a being able to swim and get some sun in Mid-April was a blessing. Taking time for morning walks in the forest was very good for the soul. Whistler is a truly magical place and being at the Fairmont makes it a luxurious gift to yourself.

Ultimate service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I felt truly well taken care of during my stay at Fairmont Chateau Whistler. Although I was there primarily for a business conference, I was able to take advantage of the hotel's amenities and found the service exemplary. I had forgotten to pack my sneakers and stopped by the concierge desk to ask where in town I could go to buy a pair so that I could exercise in the gym - instead, they sent a pair up to my room in my size that I was able to use for my entire stay. And when I wanted to go skiing, the on-site rental shop, ticket desk (which sold me a half-day ticket at 12:30 pm), and the ski valet made the entire process a breeze. The front desk was also incredibly accommodating with a late check-out time. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning to ski at Whistler/Blackcomb and to anyone looking to feel welcome in Whistler.

I have stayed at this resort on a few occasions over the years and it has always been a delightful experience. The staff are always attentive and make you feel special. Requests and inquiries are always dealt with in a timely fashion and the services are some of the best in the world. The Vida Wellness Spa is just a cut above. It is probably my favorite spa. The resort is in such a beautiful location. Vancouver and Whistler will be home to the 2010 Olympics coming soon, and our somewhat "best kept secret of Beautiful BC" will be out! Probably going to Whistler in August again and will probably stay at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort again.
